8th Grade Red Volleyball Team
The 8th grade Red volleyball team suffered their first regular season loss to Saline 15-25, 26-24, 16-25. Although the girls had a nice comeback in the second game, they couldn’t overcome a sluggish overall performance. Their regular season record is now 3-1.
The 8th grade white volleyball team lost to Tecumseh 23-25, 25-16, 23-25. Leaders for the night were Levi Lennard in assists, Cierra hammond in serving, Paige Anstine in hitting and Bree Long in digs.
7th Grade White Volleyball Team
The 7th grade white volleyball team defeated Tecumseh yesterday all three games. The team was led by Layla Thomas and Caitlyn Schweitzer on defense and Makenna Wilke and Hannah Bobroski showed an awesome display on offense. Keep up the good work girls!
Girls Cross Country Team
Congratulations to the girls cross country team for reclaiming 3rd at yesterday's SEC Jamboree meet at Tecuhmseh. Several runners earned a personal best running time, including Dayna Dec, slicing off over a minute from her PR. Alli Smith with a time of 12:50 and a second place finish overall. Also doing great were Brianna Pauli, Jillian Falzone, Brooke Flowers, Kaitlyn Key, Cortni Macrina, Miriam Shikwana, Breanna Everden and Gillian Hertzsch. GREAT JOB!
Boys Cross Country Team
The boys cross country team competed at the 3rd and final SEC league cross country championship last night. Noah Scheffer ran the race of his life and finished first as SEC champion! Great job Noah! Many of the rest of the team ran great races as well. Steven Kraine and Noah Bock continued to run impressively and finshed near the front of the race. Austin Depue, Josh Hollinger, Ethan Chevalier, and Anthony Tomlewski all raced well and helped the team dominate the rest of the SEC.

Chromebooks
6th and 7th grade students - We have received notice that Chromebooks have been seen unattended during after school sporting practices/events. Please remember that you can return to your locker after practice to retrieve your Chromebook. Chromebooks should never be left unattended, in the gymnasium, or under a tree. It is important to remember that each student with a Chromebook signed an agreement at the beginning of the school year that states...
- I will be responsible for my Chromebook at all times.
- My Chromebook will never be left unattended
- I will store my Chromebook in my secured locker at BJHS while at sports practices or after school activities
Bedford Public Library Announcement
Bedford Branch Library will be closed on Monday, October 13 for Columbus Day. Any students that go to the Library after school should ride the bus home or a make other arrangements.

Reminder to all students - Bus notes to ride another bus home after school MUST be stamped in the office BEFORE the end of sixth hour.
Bronco Charity Club
Bronco Charity Club will have it's first meeting Monday, October 13, 2014 after school in Mrs Currie's room 220.
All 7th grade students will participate in Students Interact sometime between now and February 2015. Watch for a letter to come home when your student is asked to participate. All permission slips should be turned into Mrs Connoly.
