We will be bringing back our Halloween Costume Day! This Friday, October 29th, you may wear your costume to school. Your costume must be within our dress code expectations and no costume masks will be allowed. Everyone will still have to wear a regular mask.

SPORTS  

The girls cross country team had their last meet of the season on Saturday at the middle school cross country regionals in Hudson. The team took 5th place out of 17 teams. The top three runners for Bedford were Iva R., Sophia J., and Aubrey M.  Personal records were earned by  Avery H., Grace F., Chloe W., Maddie T., Kennedy V., Mirna S., Mackenzie D., and Shiloh V. 

The boys cross country team won the Junior High Cross Country Regional Championship on Saturday.  They were once again led by SEC Champ Dane H., who ran his best time ever of 11:31 for the 2 mile course.  Dane was followed closely by 7th grade record holder Cam V., who finished in 11:37.  Third for the team, and also running his best time ever, was Bryce M..  Brandon M., Gage B., and Maddi D. were the next to finish for the team.  Brody M. was next, and ran an amazing race as well.  Others running great were Aaron M., Gavin T., Logan T., AJ V., Sawyer P., Griffin T., and Owen S..

It was an amazing year for the boys cross country team.  They beat all the teams in our SEC league, they won multiple Invitationals and finished as the top team in the Region in Michigan.  If you see any of the guys, congratulate them for these amazing accomplishments.

STUDENT COUNCIL WILL HAVE A BAKE SALE STARTING MONDAY SO BRING YOUR CASH FOR LOTS OF COOKIES, BROWNIES, CUPCAKES AND MORE.

The boys cross country team took 2nd out of 10 teams at the final SEC cross country meet of the season.  Congratulations go out to Dane H. for finishing as SEC league champion.  Great job Dane!  Others running well for Bedford were 8th graders Anthony K., Quinn H., Gavin T., Thomas Y. and Matthew R.  7th graders Andrew H. and Jayden M. ran great races as well, and 6th graders AJ V. and Owen S. really helped the team with their great efforts.  The boys finish the season with the Regional Championship meet on Saturday.  Wish them luck!

The boys cross country team won the Dave Bork Cross Country Invitational on Saturday.  Even though half the course was underwater, the boys ran well and took home the victory in the mud.  Dane H. was the top runner for the team once again.  2nd for the team was Bryce M.  Gage B. ran a great race, finishing next for the team.  Others running well were Quinn H., Anthony K., Owen S., Gavin T., Griffin T., Chase W. and Logan T.  The boys have their final 2 races of the season this week.  Wish them luck!

He has an AWESOME collection of new virtual and in-person makerspace activities to choose from (virtual makerspaces, 3D puzzles, KNEX, origami, adult coloring books, little bits engineering kits, squishy engineering kits, virtual reality goggles, drones, ozbots, etc.). We will meet every Wednesday in the JHS Media Center during homeroom times between 10:30 and 12:30pm.  Join the JHS Makerspace Club and make some new friends!

He has an AWESOME list of new junior high titles to choose from. 7th Grade defeated both Saline Blue and Gold this week. Bella G., Madyson W., and Amelia B. played well!
8th Grade dropped both matches against Saline this week.
Both 7th and 8th Grade will play at home Next Wednesday October 20th.
