LUNCH ACCOUNT
All balances need to be paid as soon as possible. There will no charging lunches the rest of the year.

HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS SWIM AND DIVE
Attention all girls who are interested in swimming or diving in the fall for the high school there will be an informational meeting on Wednesday, June 1st right after school in room 204.  If you are unable to attend, give all your contact information to Mrs. Sullivan in room 204.

SPORTS PHYSICALS
Mercy Sports Medicine is once again going to be doing sports physicals at the High School, June 7th at 5:30 PM.  The cost is $22 cash only.  Make sure you have printed off your physical form to take with you or pick one up in the office.

Girls, if you are interested in volleyball camp this summer, there are flyers & registrations in the office. The deadline is June 1!

LIBRARY
May 25th was the final due date for all books from the Media Center.  Any 8th graders that have overdue books or outstanding fines cannot take part in recognition June 2nd.

8TH graders should bring in a baby photo to put in the WHO IS THIS? Contest next week during lunches. Make sure it is marked on the back with your name and is NOT the original photograph.

Water bottles, drinks, and food are strictly prohibited in the hallways as
of now. We are having increasing issues with spills, messes and school property being damaged. Teachers, if you see students out in the halls with these items and they do not have a doctor's note allowing it with them, take or discard the bottles. Food items are never allowed to be opened and transported.

At this time we are experiencing a number of overcrowded buses with 3 to a seat and we are unable to accommodate extra riders. The following bus routes are not excepting bus passes until further notice.
We are taking student counts on all runs and will be adjusting routes over the next couple weeks.

Carrying several books increases the chance for your chromebook to slip and break. Broken chromebooks will have to pay a $25 deductible to get it fixed.

Students should always carry chromebook cases by the handle.

M-step takes place for 7th graders May 10, 12, 17, 18. M step make-ups will continue through May 27, 2016. Students should have their chromebooks fully charged each day. LACROSSE
Bedford Jr. High Lacrosse played it's last away game on Sunday to a tough St. Johns team from Toledo.  James Cannon stepped in at goalie and did a great job stopping 7 of 12 shots.  Eli Lozinski came out shooting with the only goals of the game.  Both were unassisted.  This Wednesday is our last game and it will be held at the lacrosse stadium at Indian Creek starting at 5:30.   Please come out and support the team as we rematch against Tecumseh.  It should be a great game.

PHONE USE DURING SCHOOL
Under no circumstances are you allowed to text your parents or anyone else during the school day. If you are feeling ill, come down to the health room. If you forgot something or need something, please ask your teacher for permission to call home. After this week, if a student is found to be texting for these reasons, you will receive the 2 penalty halls for cell phone violations.

CHROMEBOOK REMINDER
Students please remember to limit what you take to each class. Chromebooks can not be stacked on several books. The bottom of the blue case has support to one book only. Carrying several books increases the chance for your chromebook to slip and break. Broken chromebooks will have to pay a $25 deductible to get it fixed.

Students should always carry chromebook cases by the handle.

CROSS COUNTRY
Any current 5th, 6th or 7th graders interested in doing cross country next fall, please fill out contact information in the Google Form below and you will receive information this summer.


FOOTBALL
Any and all current 6th and 7th grade athletes interested in playing Bronco football next fall. 

Stop by Room 201 and fill out the sign up sheet, which will allow coaches to send you a survey email for Football next fall. 


Deadline to sign up is Tuesday - May 31st

LIBRARY
This Wednesday, May 25th is the final due date for all books from the Media Center.  As a reminder, anyone in 7th grade that has overdue books or outstanding fines cannot attend the Mud Hens game this Wednesday.  Any 8th graders that have overdue books or outstanding fines cannot take part in recognition June 2nd.  

HIGH SCHOOL SOCCER
For any 8th grade boys who are interested in playing high school soccer, the soccer program's first summer session will be held on Monday, June 20th at the Indian Creek Soccer Fields from 6-8pm.

SIDELINE CHEERLEADING
If you are interested in sideline cheerleading, tryouts will be May 31st from 3-6 and June 1st and 2nd from 3-5:30 in the High School new gym. Packets are available in the office.

8TH GRADERS
8th graders interested in Summer Test Out for Freshman year applications are on the HIGH SCHOOL COUNSELING webpage. Applications and money are due to the High School by May 27th.

BABY PHOTOS
8TH graders should bring in a baby photo to put in the WHO IS THIS? Contest next week during lunches. Make sure it is marked on the back with your name and is NOT the original photograph.

7TH GRADE FIELD TRIP TO MUD HENS
All money should have been turned in already for your field trip this Wednesday.

HALLWAY RULES - NO FOOD OR DRINKS
Water bottles, drinks, and food are strictly prohibited in the hallways as
of now. We are having increasing issues with spills, messes and school property being damaged. Teachers, if you see students out in the halls with these items and they do not have a doctor's note allowing it with them, take or discard the bottles. Food items are never allowed to be opened and transported.

M-STEP STATE TESTING FOR 7TH GRADE
M-step takes place for 7th graders May 10, 12, 17, 18. M step make-ups will continue through May 27, 2016. Students should have their chromebooks fully charged each day. Also remember to bring earbuds or headphones and your charger everyday of testing. Absences are unexcused during this window. See Mr. Hurley if you have any questions.

BUS ROUTES THAT CAN NOT HAVE EXTRA RIDERS 
At this time we are experiencing a number of overcrowded buses with 3 to a seat and we are unable to accommodate extra riders. The following bus routes are not excepting bus passes until further notice.
We are taking student counts on all runs and will be adjusting routes over the next couple weeks.

MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE BUS ROUTE # THAT YOU WILL BE RIDING ON YOUR NOTE BEFORE YOU BRING IT TO THE OFFICE.

SOFTBALL
The 8th grade softball season wrapped up Thursday night with tough losses to Saline. Tevi Weiss led the way on offense, going 7 for 8 at the plate with 2 beautiful bunts resulting in multiple RBI's. Sami Hoogendorf showcased solid defense at second base throughout both games. Great season ladies!
