8TH GRADE WHITE FOOTBALL
The Bedford 8th Grade white team defeated Lincoln yesterday by a score of 8-6. It was an outstanding team performance. Mitchel Dunson scored a touchdown early in the first quarter and also helped get a safety with Brody Szakovits in the 2nd along with other Bronco defenders. Great job team ! Come see the white team face off against Saline nest tuesday at home.

JUGGLING CLUB
Come one, come all! Children of all ages! Join the greatest club on Earth! The juggling club will meet beginning this Friday from 2:30-3:30. Beginners to advanced jugglers are welcome. You can learn to juggle a basic 3 ball pattern or learn more advanced tricks. You can also learn to juggle rings, clubs, Chinese yo-yo, cup speed stacking, and angel sticks. Or, you can learn to pass with a friend. Maybe just have fun trying. If interested, see Mr. Allison in room 124 or check out his website for details. Or, just show up this Friday. Be sure to arrange a ride home for 3:30.

NJHS
Next week on Wednesday October 7th we will have out first NJHS meeting during 4a and 4b in the choir room. If this is your lunch time please bring your lunch with you and clean up after yourself when finished. If this takes place during one of your classes please check with your teacher to see if there is work you can do to make up the time you will be gone. We will be discussing officer positions, red ribbon week, and service hours.

Attention 7th Grade Students:
Students please remember to limit what you take to each class. Chromebooks can not be stacked on several books. The bottom of the blue case has support to one book only. Carrying several books increases the chance for your chromebook to slip and break. Broken chromebooks will have to pay a $25 deductible to get it fixed.

6th and 8th Grade Students:
Students should always carry chromebook cases by the handle.

8TH GRADE VOLLEYBALL

The 8th grade red volleyball team defeated Chelsea Gold 25-20, 25-7, 25-19  Leaders for the team were Mallory Schardt and Sydney Fuleky in serving, Emma Wagenhauser in passing, Lauren Nigh in setting and Carly Emerson in hitting.

The 8th grade white volleyball team ended last night with a win against Chelsea!  The scores were 25-15, 25-14, 25-12.  Ellie Ostermyer led the team on defense with nine digs.  Maggie Granata hustled on the court and added eight digs for the team.  Madison Zielinski had a great block during the third game  Good job ladies!

7TH GRADE VOLLEYBALL

The 7th grade RED volleyball team defeated Chelsea yesterday with the scores of 25-10, 25-6 and 25-8. The team was led by Grace Sitter  with 20 service aces and Gracie Tegmeyer  with 13 service points.   Lydia Whitman did an excellent job hitting while Kendall Morse and Kendra Bell did an awesome job on defense.   Great job girls, keep up the good work! 

Results from the SEC tournament in Dexter over the weekend.....The 7th Grade Bedford White Team brought home the Gold Championship beating Saline Blue 25-17, 23-25, 15-9. They fought hard with Monroe Red in the Semi finals beating them 25-19, 25-20. Overall the leaders for the day were Savanna Killinen with 28 service aces and 26 digs, Kamryn Wolf had 24 aces and 24 assists, and Kenzie Palmer with 20 aces. Katie Hicks, Keke McNutt and Grace Johnson had outstanding defensive game!!

The girls then hosted Chelsea Blue beating the Bulldogs 25-16, 25-9, 25-7. Savanna Killinen led the team with 11 aces and Kamryn Wolf chipped in 7 aces as well. Katie hicks had 8 digs and Grace Johnson had 4 kills. The girls will host Tecumseh . Come out and show your support!




GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY
The Bedford cross country girls brought home the gold at Saturday's Jefferson Invitational, scoring 1stoverall.  Belle Easton placed 2nd, Isabella Johnson placed 3rd, Olivia Kruk placed 9th, Madison Norton placed 18th, and Makayla Orner, Laney Cubberly, and Dayna Dec placed 23rd, 24th, and 25th out of 135 runners.  Presley Schmus, Macy Misicowski, and Leah Driehorst were among several girls with personal records.  The trophy will be on display in the main office.  Congratulations to all of our runners. 

BOYS CROSS COUNTRY
The boys junior high cross country team continued their winning ways by winning the Jefferson Invitational Saturday. The team was led by Noah Bock, who took third out of the 170 runners in the race.  Seth Oxer, Ty Smith, Aiden Burns and Josh Hollinger all ran personal best times to help the team to the commanding 50 point victory over the next closest team.  Most of the team ran great, Jack Geisler, Zac Baughman, Caden Bodine, Brian Sullivan, Nathan Riester, Thomas Zoldowski, Jack Miller, Kevin Payne, and Josh Schaffer all ran personal best times.  Right now, the boys team is ranked in the top 10 in the state.  The team races at Dexter on Wednesday to defend their league championship.  Good Luck boys.

6TH GRADE CROSS COUNTRY
The 6th grade cross country teams ran at Sterling State Park over the weekend. Both teams had great races!

The girls team finished 4th out of 13 teams. Top runners for the girls were:

The boys team finished 2nd out of 13 teams. Top runner for the boys were:

8TH GRADE RED VOLLEYBALL
The 8th grade red volleyball team defeated Dexter Gold 20-25, 25-18, 15-2.  Leaders for the team were Sydney Fuleky in Serving and setting.  Carly Emerson in passing and Alyssa Griner and Carly Emerson in hitting.
8TH GRADE WHITE VOLLEYBALL
After defeating Dexter last night, the 8th grade white volleyball team advanced their record to 2-0. The scores of the games were 20-25, 25-20, and 25-21. Jessica Steinman had a serving streak of eight points to pull the lady broncos ahead in game two. Britney Deiley led the defense with 12 digs and Jayda Copciac contributed on offense with four kills. The white team plays at home against Chelsea on Monday.

7TH GRADE RED VOLLEYBALL

Hannah Dupont did an awesome job on defense and Madison Weirich led theteam with assists. Great job girls, keep up the good work! 

7TH GRADE WHITE VOLLEYBALL
The 7th grade white team added another win to their record last night by beating Dexter Maroon with scores of 25-15, 25-9, 25-6 making them 2-0. Kamryn Wolf led the team with 18 service ace points and Hannah Vickery had 11. Isabelle Loe had a great defensive game and Katie Hicks led in hitting. The girls will travel this weekend to Dexter for the SEC tournament. Then they will be home next week both Monday and Wednesday, come out and show your support!
