FOOTBALL
Attention all young men grades 8-11:

On June 8th, promptly at 6pm in the Auditorium, Bedford Football is holding their annual mandatory football informational meeting.  One parent is required to attend this meeting to provide them with as much information as possible to begin the 2017 season.

Riddell Helmets, Team Sports, Thundagear Skullcaps and M&W Silkscreen will be there for your needs.  Your parents can size and order a helmet for you at that time.  You can order cleats and combat gear also.

Look to your school email for the link to register for Bedford Football.

If you have any questions or concerns, please see coach Wood immediately.

DRESS CODE
With the warmer temperatures, please keep in mind we adhere to a dress code at the junior high school. Here is a portion of the dress code:

Shorts and skirts need to be past the palm of your hand and touch a portion of your fingers
Muscle shirts cannot have jagged cuts and must have an appropriate tank under the arms
All tops must have straps that are 2 fingertip widths or wider and must cover all parts of undergarments.
All tops must cover the waistband of your pants.

You will be asked to call home immediately if you are violating the dress code.

DROP OFF ITEMS
Students, if your parents drop off items for you during the day, they will be held at the front door with our door monitor. Students will only be called down during class change so as not to interrupt class time. Please listen to announcements during the class changes for your name. At that time, you may pick up your items from the door monitor.

BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION
Box Top collections !! This year we will be collecting box tops and having a friendly competition between home rooms. This is an easy way to fund raise for the extra things our classrooms my need throughout the year. Just ask your students and parents to clip and save. Deposit them in the collection boxes with your homeroom name on them (or place in Mrs. Nimigean's mailbox in the high school or Mr. Muck's mailbox in the junior high). We will collect for 3 months for each giveaway.Winners will be awarded the first of December, March and June (top collector in each building). Make sure you get them turned in for a homeroom treat!

HANDBOOK REMINDER
Students who are leaving school early for an appointment should remember to come to the office first thing in the morning before school starts to receive an exit pass. They should not give their notes to their teachers. Do not wait until lunch to receive your exit pass.

SAFETY REMINDER
When getting off of the bus in the morning, be sure to stay on the sidewalk to get to the junior high. Do not walk on the cement island.

CHROMEBOOKS
Students please remember to limit what you take to each class. Chromebooks can not be stacked on several books. Carrying several books increases the chance for your chromebook to slip and break.

HEALTH ROOM VISITS
You must report to your next hour teacher before coming to the health room unless it is an emergency. That way your teacher knows where you are.
