9TH GRADE HONORS ENGLISH - SUMMER READING ASSIGNMENTS
Ninth grade Honors English summer reading assignments are to be picked up in the counseling office.  Eighth grade English teachers have a class list also.

HIGH SCHOOL - TESTING OUT - DUE TODAY
This is a reminder to 8th graders who would like to test out of a Freshman class next year.  Applications are online and at the high school in the counseling office.  Applications may be turned in May 1 through June 1.

JUNIOR HIGH CROSS COUNTRY
Attention all 6th and 7th graders!  If you are interested in running cross country on the best junior high team in the area, please sign up in Mrs. Scheffer's classroom, # 221.  Cross Country starts up in August, so you will need to be prepared!!  The team will work hard but have a lot of fun in the process.  Go Broncos!!.

BEDFORD VOLLEYBALL CAMP
The Bedford Volleyball Camp will be held June 17-20, at the high school.  All 6th, 7th, and 8th grade girls interested should pick up a flyer in the office.  The deadline to join is June 11.

SIDELINE CHEER TRYOUTS AND CONDITIONING
Incoming 7th and 8th grade ladies! Sideline Cheer tryouts are next week! No experience necessary, we will

Students if you will be 14 years 8 months on any of those dates you will be eligible to take Segment I Drivers Education.

8TH GRADE RECOGNITION
Today, May 24, The Bedford Junior High School will recognize the 8th grade class in a ceremony beginning at 8:30 a.m. in the gym.  Parents are invited to attend.  A reminder to all students; the dress code policy will be in effect as stated in the the Bedford Junior High Handbook.  Please dress appropriately!

Our annual carnival is Friday, May 24, during 6th and 7th hours.
All rides are FREE at the carnival.
Food and drink are fifty cents a piece.
Ice Cream will be available for $2 and under.

Wristbands supporting Mr. Lopinski will be sold during lunches for $1.

The Bedford Volleyball Camp will be held June 17-20, at the high school.  All 6th, 7th, and 8th grade girls interested should pick up a flyer in the office.  The deadline to join is June 11.

There will be a brief informational meeting in the Bedford Junior High School cafeteria on Thursday, May 30, from 2:30-3:00 p.m. for any 8th grade girl in interested in  joining the high school swim and dive team in the fall .  If you are interested and unable to attend, please see Coach Bauer in the health room .

There are 3 segment 1 classes still available for this summer: 
·         The first class starts June 10 at 8am in PO-H
·         The second class starts June 25th at 8am in PO-H
·         The third and final class of the summer starts July 15th  at 8am in PO-H 
Students if you will be 14 years 8 months on any of those dates you will be eligible to take Segment I Drivers Education.

SIDELINE CHEER TRYOUTS AND CONDITIONING
Wanted: Female Athletes who are dynamic, strong individuals who are not afraid to do hard things! What we have done this past competitive cheer season is just the beginning plan for the cheer program. We broke school records, set high goals and dreams for our team extend well beyond competitive season. But we need young women who are not afraid to be challenged and are not afraid to challenge their teammates.

You must be committed to getting better every day in every aspect of your life, and you must be passionate about what we have established for our team. If you think you are one of these people, let us know asap! We want you!

Incoming freshmen you still have the chance to attend conditioning the rest of this week to get in shape for tryouts! We will teach you everything you need to know! Conditioning is this entire week, 3-5pm in the high school gym. High School tryouts are next week, May 28th-31st, 3-5pm in the high school gym.

Incoming 7th and 8th graders, no experience necessary! Junior High tryouts are June 3- 6 from  3-5pm in the high school gym.

8TH GRADE RECOGNITION
Tomorrow, May 24, The Bedford Junior High School will recognize the 8th grade class in a ceremony beginning at 8:30 a.m. in the gym.  Parents are invited to attend.  A reminder to all students; the dress code policy will be in effect as stated in the the Bedford Junior High Handbook.  Please dress appropriately!

CAFETERIA REMINDER
From now on, you must have cash or money on your account to purchase a lunch.  If you owe for lunches that have been charged, please bring your account up-to-date before the end of the school year.

CARNIVAL INFORMATION
Our annual carnival is Friday, May 24, during 6th and 7th hours.
All rides are FREE at the carnival.
Food and drink are fifty cents a piece.
