MHSAA rules and the State of Michigan order still limit our spectators at athletic events to two per participant. Students must submit two names twenty-four hours in advance of each contest. This applies to both home and away contests. For information on how you can submit names, please contact your son/daughter's coach or the Bedford Athletic office. 
It has been announced that the limits for spectators will be raised beginning Oct 9th. We will have a decision of how that will proceed well in advance of the opening date. 
Thank you for your cooperation and patience as we maneuver through these challenges.

Bedford 7th grade volleyball started off strong beating Dexter on the road 
25-15, 25-20 and 25-17. 
Sydney S. led in serving and Ruby W. led in passing.

Bedford 8th grade volleyball won their away games against Dexter Gold. 
25-21 win
25-14 win
25-16 win

Torrey D. helped the team in the back row with great passing. Natalie H. and 
Kaylin S. had great serves. Victoria G. held the front row up with some great kills.
Keep up the great work girls!

SPORTS:

CROSS COUNTRY
The boys cross country team extended their winning streak to 5 in a row by sweeping Chelsea 15-50.  The boys took the top 13 places.  Aiden Depue won his 3rd meet of the season with his season best time, followed closely by Nick Balla, Jordan Bunce and Aiden Ortiz.  Grant Russell and Eli Hinkelman ran season best times as well, along with Anthony Kraus, Aaron Majewski, Gavin Tegtmeyer, Maddi Duke and Jack Fulop.  The boys will look to improve to 6-0 next Wednesday at Monroe.

SPORTS:
On Saturday the girls cross country team took on Dundee and WON! Our tops scoring racers were Iva R. with 14.02, Maddy T with 14.15., Anika H. with 41.48, Aubrey M. with 14.57, Sophia J. with 15.10, Maddie T. with 15.17, and Adelle R. with 15.19. 28 girls earned personal records. Way to go ladies!

The Bedford boys cross country team beat Dundee on Saturday at Indian Creek 20-43 (low score wins).  The team is now 4-0.  Once again Bedford overwhelmed the competition with their quality and depth, having 16 of the top 17 runners.  Nick B. was the top runner for Bedford running a personal best time of 12:13 for the 2 mile course.  Over 90% of the guys ran season best times.  Some of the runners running all time personal best times were, 8th graders Owen P. and Grant R., 7th graders Dane H., Chase W. and Josh P., and 6th graders Cam V., Logan T., Ethan M., Sawyer P., Jayden M., Gabe A., Andrew H. and Riley M.  The team races Chelsea on Thursday at Indian Creek as they look to improve to 5-0.

  SPORTS:

The Bedford boys middle school cross country team beat Lincoln on Wednesday to up their record to 3-0. The boys swept Lincoln, placing 13 runners before Lincoln's first runner (final score Bedford 15 Lincoln 50). They were once again led by Aiden D. followed closely by Bryce M. Aiden O., Eli H. and Grant R. ran season best times. 7th graders running well were Aaron M. and Gage B.. And several 6th graders ran season best times as well, Cam V., Logan T., Griffin T., Jayden M., and Matthew B. The boys race Saturday at Indian Creek against Dundee.

The girls cross country team had a great race last night taking on, and winning against Ypsilanti Lincoln. The team took 8 of the top 10 places. 12 members earned PR's including Paige B., Miranda F., Serenity P., Paige W., Danielle W., Grace F., Kiernan K., Sophia S., Maddie T., Veda V., Amelia J., and Makenzie W. Way to go Lady Broncos!!!

SPORTS: The Bedford boys cross country team beat Adrian on Wednesday in middle school cross country.  The final score was Bedford 27 Adrian 32.  Bedford was led by Aiden D. who ran a season best of 12:19 for the 2 mile race.  Bedford had a strong team showing placing 16 of the top 20 runners.  Other Bedford runners running personal best times were Dylan S., Braxon L., Owen P., Cam V., Brody M., Grant R., Maddi D., Jack F., Logan T., Isaac H., Caleb P. and Jayden M. Junior high football practice will begin on Monday, September 14th from 5pm-7pm. Please meet at the field between the high school and junior high. You are required to bring a water bottle, hand sanitizer and a mask to participate. If you did not obtain an MHSAA sports physical for the 2019-20 school year, you will need to do so BEFORE Monday. If you have a physical, the 2020-2021 MHSAA Health Questionnaire is still required.
