FOOD DRIVE

The Food Drive is in full swing and goes until Friday, December 10th. All First Hour Teachers - collect food items with your class The Class with the most items wins breakfast from Mr. Lopinski. First Hour Teachers, you can get a box from Mr. Lopinski in Room #30.

Bedford High School's students In Action & Junior High's NJHS are working together to collect new or gently used outdoor clothing items to donate this Holiday Season!

Boys Basketball for Grades 4-8

Teams are forming now for Winter Basketball. Online registration is now open for boys in grades 4-8. Deadline to register is December 22nd at 4pm. Space is limited so register early to get your place on a team. BJHS players are ineligible to play Community Ed basketball during their season. To register online, go to https:/bedford.ce.eleyo.com

GIRLS BASKETBALL 

7/8 th grade girls basketball open gym Wed Dec1 2:45-4:30. Please bring a physical with you if there is not one on file. 

BOYS BASKETBALL 

Bedford 7th grade defeated Ypsilanti 28-20. Cashton S. led on offense and Jackson H. led in rebounding. Bedford improved to 6-1 on the season.

Bedford 8th grade came out on top of a tough physical game against Ypsilanti 42-22.  Kason S. and Ismael H. led the scoring.  Carsen B. distributed the basketball well.  Joshua P.  and Logan I. played their best games of the season.

REMINDERS 

Students - if you are being dropped off early in the morning, please make sure you stay in the Cafe until 7AM.  Please do not walk around in the halls before 7AM.

Students:

You must have your Chromebooks charged each night, ready for school the next day. We have lots of students coming to school unprepared with their most utilized tool here. This past weekend the Loose Screws Robotics team had a great showing at the Bedford Tournament.  They won the coveted Innovation Award and qualified for the State Tournament.  Congratulations to the Loose Screws!

Bedford 7th grade used great defense led by Everett W. to defeat Jackson 32-4. Cameron V. shot the ball well. 

Bedford 8th grade gobbled up Jackson 47-20.  Ismael H. and Kason S. led the balanced scoring attack.  Logan I. ruled on the boards.  Todd D. also played well.

LOCKER CLEAN UP

Today during homerooms, we will be doing locker clean out for everyone.  

6th grade students, you should only be coming downstairs for elective hours and lunch unless you are with a teacher. During passing times, you need to stay upstairs and not wander downstairs.


ROBOTICS

On Saturday, Bedford High School hosted over 30 teams from all over Michigan for a robotics competition.  All five junior high teams competed in the event.  Congratulations to Classical Engineers, Turning Gears, and Loose Screws on advancing to States.  Classical Engineers also won the 2nd Place Inspire Award, the highest ranking award.  Bionic Broncos and F.L.A.G. put in a great effort!
