PENNY HOCKEY
The 8th grade technology education classes have mass produced penny hockey boards.  These inexpensive games are being sold in the concession stand during all lunch hours.  They are only $2.00.  Do you need a small Christmas gift for a brother or sister?  You don't even have to go to the store.  They are loads of fun and don't require charging or batteries.  Get them while supplies last.

GRAPPLERETTES
Any girls interested in becoming a grapplerette for the wrestling team this season..... there will be a meeting Thursday December 3  after school.  This will be an informational meeting to talk about what "being a grapplerette" is all about.  We will meet by the cafeteria around 3:35.  The meeting will last until 4:15.

WRESTLING
Any 7th or 8th grade boys interested in helping defend the SEC Championship for junior high wrestling should report to practice Monday, December 7 after school. December 7th is the official start of wrestling season! Practice will start at 2:45and last until 5:00. Please be dressed and ready for practice. 6th graders that are interested may practice with the team.
REFLECTIONS COMPETITION
The PTSA is again encouraging all students to celebrate the arts by submitting an original work for this year's Reflections competition.  The theme for this year is "LET YOUR IMAGINATION FLY!"  Entry forms are in the media center and all entries should be returned to the box there by December 4th at noon.  Every student that enters will be put into a drawing for a $25 Amazon gift card.

BOOK FAIR
Book Fair begins Monday November 30th - Friday December 4th from 10:30-12:30.

WINTER IS HERE
Students please remember it is cold outside! You should be wearing long pants, not shorts.

FOOD DRIVE
Food drive started Tuesday November 24 and ends December 11. First hour teachers will collect for 7th and 8th grade, 6th grade teachers will collect during homeroom again the class that collects the most will get breakfast made by Mr. Lopinski.

BOOK CLUB
Mrs. Vogel's next book club will begin on Monday Nov. 30th from 2:30-4:30. Students will meet December 1st-8th from 2:30-4:00. We will be reading The Hunger Games. If you are interested in joining the group, please email her so she knows how many books are needed. Thank you.

All students who are participating in the Hunger Games Book Club who don't have a book yet, please see Mrs. Mohn in the media center today to check one out with your student ID.

Students please remember to limit what you take to each class. Chromebooks can not be stacked on several books. The bottom of the blue case has support to one book only. Carrying several books increases the chance for your chromebook to slip and break. Broken chromebooks will have to pay a $25 deductible to get it fixed.

6th and 8th Grade Students:
Students should always carry chromebook cases by the handle.

7TH GRADE BOYS BASKETBALL
Bedford red 7th grade lost another hard fought game 35-29 to Ypsilanti Lincoln Gray.  Hayden Barber had a good game on the defensive side with 5 steals.  Conner Ullery and Markus Coker also played well.  

7TH GRADE BOYS BASKETBALL
The boys 7th grade white team defeated Lincoln yesterday 39 - 26.  Everyone scored in the White team's highest scoring output on the season.
Brandon Nigh led the scoring with 17 points and 6 steals.
Ethan Gartee had 10 points and made some clutch 3 pointers to extend the lead
Darren Cleavenger had 7 points
Brady Henderson scored 4 points
Joel Rand had 3 points and had many key rebounds
Trenton Delaney, Joey Nagle, Austin Brown, and Gaven Cox all had 2 points in the white teams 3rd victory of the season.

8TH GRADE BOYS BASKETBALL
Bedford red 8th grade did not have an answer for Ypsilanti Lincoln Gray suffering its first setback of the season 45-34.  Derek Price, Wes Matthews and Matt Kohler led in scoring.  The Warnke twins Zach and Luke along with Matthew Kochendoerfer also played well.  

8TH GRADE BOYS BASKETBALL
The 8th grade white basketball team lost to Ypsilanti Lincoln last night.  Christian Brown, Sam Birmingham and Mitchell Dunson led the defense.  Nick Kesler had a good game offensively for the Broncos.

CAMP OUT TO STAMP OUT HUNGER
The CAMP OUT TO STAMP OUT HUNGER which is the kick off to our food drive was once again very successful.  The out pouring of support from the community is very much appreciated.  Thank you to all who came out and participated! We especially want to thank Mr. Lopinski, Dr. Robinson and Mr. Vergiels.

7TH GRADE BOYS BASKETBALL
Bedford red 7th grade lost a hard fought overtime thriller to Saline Gold 35-29.  Tyler Krupp and Logan Hullibarger erased a first half deficit by scoring 12 and 9 second half points respectively.  

7TH GRADE BOYS BASKETBALL
The boys 7th grade white team lost to Saline yesterday 32-17.  Brandon Nigh led the team with 15 points and played great defense.
Brady Henderson was 7 for 11 from the free throw line.
Darren Cleavenger added 5 points and Trenton Delaney, Austin Brown each added 2 points to the total.
The white teams will next take on Lincoln today at home with 7th grade game starting at 4:15.

8TH GRADE BOYS BASKETBALL
Bedford red 8th grade outlasted Saline Gold 29-16 for a great team effort win.  Matt Kohler and Derek Price led in scoring.  Darren Common and Wes Matthews led in rebounding.  Noah Anderson, Jaden Bloomer and Cole Mason also played well.

CAMP OUT TO STAMP OUT HUNGER

We encourage students to bring canned goods on Tuesday night after school. Drop off cans and enjoy making s'mores with Mr. Lopinski, Mr. Robinson and Mr. Vergiels.  There will also be hay rides and Indian Creek will be bringing the camel over. We would like to collect 2000 canned goods to help feed the hungry.
  
TERRACYCLE RECYCLE CONTEST
Congratulations to Mrs. Tillman's homeroom with 127 pieces of recycling.  They win Hot Cocoa and Cupcakes today during homeroom.

Terracycle thanks everyone for participating.  The next contest will start in January so keep saving your body products.

BEDFORD'S GOT TALENT
Come out to audition for Bedford's Got Talent on Monday and Tuesday November 23rd 6:00-9:00 pm and 24th 3:00-6:00 pm at the High School auditorium.  See Mrs. Matlow in room 35 for more information.
