WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 11, 2015 VETERAN'S DAY

8TH GRADE BOYS BASKETBALL
Bedford 8th grade Red started the season on a winning note by defeating Adrian Blue 23-17.  Matt Kohler, Derek Price and Wes Matthews led in scoring.  Lukas Stevens and Darren Common also played well.  

7TH GRADE BOYS BASKETBALL
Bedford Red 7th grade got off to a good start by defeating Adrian Blue 36-14.  Logan Hullibarger led the way with 19 points followed by Tyler Krupp with 12.  

8TH GRADE BOYS BASKETBALL
The 8th grade white basketball team won a nail biter at Adrian yesterday with an 18-16 victory.  Christian Brown, Ryan Sullivan and Mitchell Dunson played well defensively and Josh Hollinger rebounded well.  Ryan Sullivan was also the leading scorer.

7TH GRADE BOYS BASKETBALL
The 7th grade white team defeated the Adrian blue team last night 26 - 3.  After losing the first period the 11 - 4 the team put the defensive pressure on and only allowed 5 points the rest of the game.
Brandon Nigh led all scorers with 17 points
Darren Cleavenger added 11 points
Brady Henderson, Ethan Gartee, Mike Martin and Joey Nagle all scored 4 points
Austin Brown and Joel Rand added 2 points each.
The white teams will next play at Dexter on Thursday.

8TH HOUR
Due to 1/2 day classes on Wednesday and Thursday, there will not be 8th hour.   On those days, all students should go home as usual. It will resume as usual next week.

REMINDER FOR STUDENTS THAT RIDE THE BUS
Please remind your student that they are NOT to walk on the divider as they get off the bus in the morning.  They are to walk on the drive next to the mud hole.

CRAFT SHOW
BJHS PTSA is once again having their annual Craft Show this Saturday November 14, 2015 from 9:00-3:00.  Please come enjoy the show!

As Part of this we are having a Bake Sale and asking for donations.  Yummy treats can be dropped off in the office during the day, or from 5:00-8:00 pm in the cafeteria on Friday.  Items can be homemade or store bought.  We can wrap and price them for you.  Any and all donations are greatly appreciated!


BEDFORD PUBLIC LIBRARY
Bedford Public Library will be closed in observance of Veteran's Day today November 11, 2015.  Any students that go there after school should ride the bus home or make arrangements to be picked up.

COAT DRIVE 
NJHS is once again having their coat drive. Coats can be dropped off at the front and back door in the morning.  Any size will be excepted and donated to the Lion's Den.

CONFERENCES
Conferences are this week November 11, 2015 from 4:00-7:30 and November 12, 2015 from 12:00-2:30. Students will be dismissed at 10:55 those 2 days.

VETERANS DAY
Our annual Veterans' Day assembly is today November 11, 2015 at 9 am.

Keep checking your e-mail for an invitation to future Students Interact.  When you get an invitation, the permission slip should be turned into Mrs Connolly.  Also make sure you are checking with  your teachers about any assignments

Keep clipping the November/December prize is pizza and pop! Place in collection box or deliver to Mr. Muck with 4th hour teacher clearly marked on them!

CHROMEBOOK REMINDER
Attention 7th Grade Students:
Students please remember to limit what you take to each class. Chromebooks can not be stacked on several books. The bottom of the blue case has support to one book only. Carrying several books increases the chance for your chromebook to slip and break. Broken chromebooks will have to pay a $25 deductible to get it fixed.

6th and 8th Grade Students:
Students should always carry chromebook cases by the handle.

HEALTH ROOM PASS REMINDER
Students, please remember you need to report to your next class before coming to the Health Room. Do not stop in between classes unless it is an emergency.

DRESS CODE REMINDER
No leggings, yoga pants or joggers unless the top is fingertip length or longer. Also, shorts and skirts are to be fingertip length or longer.

BUS NOTE REMINDER
Bus notes MUST be stamped before the 2:25 pm bell.
