7TH GRADE BOYS BASKETBALL
Bedford red 7th grade lost to Ypsilanti 27-21.  Connor Lynch had a strong game on the boards to go with 5 points.  Darren Pakulski had a nice floor game.  

8TH GRADE BOYS BASKETBALL
Bedford red 8th grade took down the Grizzlies of Ypsilanti in a hard fought battle 18-14.  Derek Price and Matt Kohler led in scoring.  Wes Matthews and Zack Warnke led in rebounding.  Cole Mason and Luke Stevens also played well in the win.  

WHITE WEDNESDAY
Wear white next Wednesday, November 25th to support Camryn in her fight against Lukemia.

CAMP OUT TO STAMP OUT HUNGER
Food drive starts Tuesday November 24 and ends December 11. first hour teachers will collect for 7th and 8th grade 6th grade teachers will collect during homeroom again the class that collects the most will get breakfast made by Mr. Lopinski please encourage students to bring canned goods on tuesday night after school. drop off cans and enjoy making s'mores with Mr. Lopinski, Mr. Robinson and Mr. Vergiels.

TERRACYCLE RECYCLE CONTEST
TerraCycle is having a contest from 11/18 - 11/23.  The homeroom that brings the most of the following products in will win Hot Cocoa and Dessert on Tuesday 11/24 during homeroom.
Personal Care and Beauty Brigade accepted waste: 
 
Hair care packaging such as shampoo bottles and caps, conditioner bottles and caps, hair gel tubes and caps, hair spray bottles and triggers, and hair paste plastic jars and caps
Skin care packaging such as lip balm tubes, face soap dispensers and tubes, face lotion bottles, tubes and plastic jars, body wash containers, soap tubes and dispensers, body lotion dispensers and bottles, shaving foam tubes (no cans), and hand lotion bottles and tubes
Cosmetics packaging such as lipstick cases, lip gloss tubes, mascara tubes, eye shadow cases, bronzer cases, foundation packaging and bottles, powder cases, eyeliner cases, eyeliner pencils, eye shadow tubes, concealer tubes, concealer sticks, and lip liner pencils 

BEDFORD'S GOT TALENT
Come out to audition for Bedford's Got Talent on Monday and Tuesday November 23rd and 24th at the High School auditorium.  See Mrs. Matlow in room 35 for more information. 

BOOK CLUB
Mrs. Vogel's next book club will begin on Monday Nov. 30th from 2:30-4:30. Students will meet December 1st-8th from 2:30-4:00. We will be reading The Hunger Games. If you are interested in joining the group, please email her so she knows how many books are needed. Thank you.

OPEN GYM
Any 7th and 8th grade girl interested in trying out for basketball there will be an open gym this Sunday Nov 22 from 2-3:30 pm at the Junior High Gym

COAT DRIVE 
NJHS is once again having their coat drive. Coats can be dropped off at the front and back door in the morning until November 20, 2015.  Any size will be excepted and donated to the Lion's Den

Keep checking your e-mail for an invitation to future Students Interact.  When you get an invitation, the permission slip should be turned into Mrs Connolly.  Also make sure you are checking with  your teachers about any assignments

CHROMEBOOK REMINDER
Attention 7th Grade Students:
Students please remember to limit what you take to each class. Chromebooks can not be stacked on several books. The bottom of the blue case has support to one book only. Carrying several books increases the chance for your chromebook to slip and break. Broken chromebooks will have to pay a $25 deductible to get it fixed.

6th and 8th Grade Students:
Students should always carry chromebook cases by the handle.

HEALTH ROOM PASS REMINDER
Students, please remember you need to report to your next class before coming to the Health Room. Do not stop in between classes unless it is an emergency.

DRESS CODE REMINDER
No leggings, yoga pants or joggers unless the top is fingertip length or longer. Also, shorts and skirts are to be fingertip length or longer.

BUS NOTE REMINDER
Bus notes MUST be stamped before the 2:25 pm bell.
