REMINDERS
No cell phones in pants pockets or sweatshirts.  
No cell phone use during lunch.

DRESS CODE REMINDERS
Shorts should be finger-tip length.
There should be NO holes, rips, tears, or frays in pants or other clothing.
Tank tops should be modest.

MEDIA CENTER  /HAC REMINDER
All books must be returned to the media center, and all fines must be paid.  If these matters are not taken care of, a block will be put on your HAC Account.  Eighth grade students with fines will not be able to register at the high school in August.  Please stop in the Media Center if you have any questions.

Extra yearbooks are on sale for $45 during all lunch hours.

Maybe you are just bored and want to try something new.  Join the Cross Country Team this fall.  Everyone who joins the team will get in better shape, be a better runner, and have fun being part of a team. If  you are interested, talk to Coach Jakubowski in room # 24 or see Coach Davis in room # 2. Or, if you are a 6th grader, go see Mrs. Scheffer in room # 221.  Just give them  your name and email.

SHAKESPEARE IN THE COURTYARD
Last night the Bedford Junior High School Drama and Orchestra classes performed SHAKESPEARE IN THE COURTYARD.  Over 200 people enjoyed the show.  Thank you to all dram and orchestra students, Dr.  Robinson, and Mr. Thomas for a very entertaining and interesting evening.

Today is the last day to accept orders for the Class of 2018 T-shirts.  An order form link was emailed to parents on Monday from Mr. Hurley.  Please fill out the form and turn in your  money to the PTSA mailbox in the office.  If you need to order a shirt by placing a phone call, please see the office for instructions.  They will be handed out at lunches next Wednesday.

SUMMER DRIVER EDUCATION CLASSES
Attention 8th graders; if you have a birthday by October 16, October 23, or November 14, 1999, or earlier, you are eligible to take summer driver education classes.  There are three segment 1's this summer. Forms a are available in the main office.

JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL SWIMMERS - SUMMER SWIM CAMP - JUNE 26-28
There will be an All American Swim Camp at the Francis Family YMCA June 26-28, 2014.  Coaches will be:  NCAA All American Swimmers, Collegiate Coaches and Former Olympians.  If you are interested in attending, please pick up a flyer in the office; or see Swim Coach, Mrs. Bauer in the health room.  

BEDFORD VOLLEYBALL CAMP - GRADES 6, 7, 8 - NEXT WEEK!
Girls! If you have not yet registered for volleyball camp, you need to do it today or tomorrow.  It is next week!  Pick up the flyer in the office or from Ms. Manore and email your registration to the name in the flyer.

FOOTBALL REGISTRATION 
All students interested in playing football in the fall - Please check your GMail for a football registration form. Fill it out and submit it - ASAP.

BE PROMPT!  DON'T MISS YOUR BUS
After school, when going out to your bus, be prompt!  The bus drivers will not allow students on the bus after 2:33 p.m.  

NATIONAL JUNIOR HONOR SOCIETY
NJHS students should remember to check their email for upcoming events.

8TH HOUR

HAC will be closed for the summer beginning July 13.  Please review grades before they are gone! 

8TH GRADE T-SHIRTS - ORDERS DUE TOMORROW
Tomorrow is the last day to accept orders for the Class of 2018 T-shirts.  An order form link was emailed to parents on Monday from Mr. Hurley.  Please fill out the form and turn in your  money to the PTSA mailbox in the office.  If you need to order a shirt by placing a phone call, please see the office for instructions.  They will be handed out at lunches next Wednesday. 

BATHROOM VANDALISM
There has been a lot of custodial time taken up due to bathroom vandalism.  When using the bathrooms, you are to be quick and efficient.  If situations do not improve, consequences from limiting bathroom passes for all to restitution will have to happen.  So please remember to be responsible and respectful in all areas of the building.

REMINDERS
No cell phones in pants pockets or sweatshirts.  
No cell phone use during lunch.

DRESS CODE REMINDERS
Shorts should be finger-tip length.
There should be NO holes, rips, tears, or frays in pants or other clothing.
Tank tops should be modest.

MEDIA CENTER  /HAC REMINDER
Any student having a late book or overdue fine will not be able to view their final grades on HAC, or get their schedule for next year.

YEARBOOKS ON SALE 
Extra yearbooks are on sale for $45 during all lunch hours.

8TH GRADE PANORAMIC PICTURES
We have a few extra panoramic pictures available to purchase.  The cost is $15, and they are in the office.

FRESHMAN HONORS ENGLISH
Honors English 9th grade summer reading assignments should be picked up in the counseling office.  See Mrs. Connolly.

GIRLS' TENNIS
Are you a 6th, 7th, or 8th grade girl?  Have you ever wanted to try to play tennis?  Have you played tennis before with family or friends? Do you dream about playing tennis at the high school?  Are you the next Serena Williams?  If so and you meet one or more of those qualifications, please come to an informational tennis meeting on Monday June 16th after school from 2:30-3:00 p.m. in Mrs. Jakubowski's room # 24.

SUMMER CAMPS
Interested in . . . .cooking, art, theatre, guitars, photography, welding, volleyball, basketball, or firearm safety?  Information and registration forms regarding these Monroe County Community Collage Summer Camps are on the table in the Main Office.

JUNIOR HIGH CROSS COUNTRY
Are you a 6th or 7th grade boy or girl who wants to get in shape?  Do you want to get better at running? Maybe you are just bored and want to try something new.  Join the Cross Country Team this fall.  Everyone who joins the team will get in better shape, be a better runner, and have fun being part of a team. If  you are interested, talk to Coach Jakubowski in room # 24 or see Coach Davis in room # 2. Or, if you are a 6th grader, go see Mrs. Scheffer in room # 221.  Just give them  your name and email.
      
MIDDLE SCHOOL CHEER TRYOUTS
Hey incoming 7th and 8th grade ladies!  (Current 6 and 7th graders) Cheer tryouts will continue on Thursday, June 12th, from 5-7 p.m. If you didn’t make it to the clinic, please email to receive the paperwork and sign in with them at bedfordcheer@gmail.com. All participants must have a physical on file.

THE COLOR SPLASH
The Color Splash Run will be held at Indian Creek on Saturday morning, June 28-29.  The Color Splash Run registration forms are available in the junior high office.  Please consider helping out.  Students are needed to help turn the color too!  If you have any questions, please call the number on the form.
