HAC WILL CLOSE JULY 13
HAC will be closed for the summer beginning July 13.  Please review grades before they are gone! 

8TH HOUR
There will NOT be 8th hour on Thursday, June 19.

Wednesday, June 18
Hour 1:  7:25 a.m. -  8:25 a.m.
Hour 2:  8:30 a.m. -  9:25 a.m.
Hour 3:  9:30 a.m. - 10:25 a.m.

Thursday, June 19
Hour 4 or 5: 7:25 a.m. -  8:35 a.m.
Hour 6:         8:40 a.m. -  9:45 a.m.
Hour 7:         9:50 a.m. - 10:55 a.m. 

BATHROOM VANDALISM
There has been a lot of custodial time taken up due to bathroom vandalism.  When using the bathrooms, you are to be quick and efficient.  If situations do not improve, consequences from limiting bathroom passes for all to restitution will have to happen.  So please remember to be responsible and respectful in all areas of the building.

REMINDERS
No cell phones in pants pockets or sweatshirts.  
No cell phone use during lunch.

DRESS CODE REMINDERS
Shorts should be finger-tip length.
There should be NO holes, rips, tears, or frays in pants or other clothing.
Tank tops should be modest.

MEDIA CENTER  /HAC REMINDER
All books must be returned to the media center, and all fines must be paid.  If these matters are not taken care of, a block will be put on your HAC Account.  Eighth grade students with fines will not be able to register at the high school in August.  Please stop in the Media Center if you have any questions.

YEARBOOKS ON SALE 
Extra yearbooks are on sale for $45 during all lunch hours.

8TH GRADE PANORAMIC PICTURES
We have a few extra panoramic pictures available to purchase.  The cost is $15, and they are in the office.

BACK PACK PROGRAM
Parents, please see this information regarding a back pack program in Monroe County.

FRESHMAN HONORS ENGLISH - PART TWO
Part 2 for Honors English 9th grade summer reading assignments should be picked up in the counseling office.  See Mrs. Connolly.

SUMMER CAMPS
Interested in . . . .cooking, art, theater, guitars, photography, welding, volleyball, basketball, or firearm safety?  Information and registration forms regarding these Monroe County Community Collage Summer Camps are on the table in the Main Office.

JUNIOR HIGH FOOTBALL
All current 6th and 7th grade boys planning on playing football this fall for Bedford Junior High School need to pick up an informational packet from Mr. Muck in room # 201 today, June 18, 2014, or tomorrow, June 19, 2014. 

TENNIS CAMP
Tennis Camp is starting next week. If you want to have some fun learning how to play the game, sign up at Community Education by Thursday, June 19.

JUNIOR HIGH CROSS COUNTRY
Are you a 6th or 7th grade boy or girl who wants to get in shape?  Do you want to get better at running? Maybe you are just bored and want to try something new.  Join the Cross Country Team this fall.  Everyone who joins the team will get in better shape, be a better runner, and have fun being part of a team. If  you are interested, talk to Coach Jakubowski in room # 24 or see Coach Davis in room # 2. Or, if you are a 6th grader, go see Mrs. Scheffer in room # 221.  Just give them  your name and email.
      
SUMMER DRIVER EDUCATION CLASSES
Attention 8th graders; if you have a birthday by October 16, October 23, or November 14, 1999, or earlier, you are eligible to take summer driver education classes.  There are three segment 1's this summer. Forms a are available in the main office.

JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL SWIMMERS - SUMMER SWIM CAMP - JUNE 26-28
There will be an All American Swim Camp at the Francis Family YMCA June 26-28, 2014.  Coaches will be:  NCAA All American Swimmers, Collegiate Coaches and Former Olympians.  If you are interested in attending, please pick up a flyer in the office; or see Swim Coach, Mrs. Bauer in the health room.  

BE PROMPT!  DON'T MISS YOUR BUS
After school, when going out to your bus, be prompt!  The bus drivers will not allow students on the bus after 2:33 p.m.  

NATIONAL JUNIOR HONOR SOCIETY
NJHS students should remember to check their email for upcoming events.
