8th Grade Red Volleyball Team

The 8th grade Red volleyball upped their regular season record to 5-1 last night defeating Ypsilanti 25-5, 25-7, 25-8. Strong serving performances were given by Abby Armstrong, Taylor Weirich,Taylor Hawkins, and Selena Sandoval. The ladies travel to Ypsilanti Lincoln tonight. Good Luck Ladies!

8th Grade White Volleyball Team

The 8th grade White volleyball team beat Adrian 25-7, 25-20, 12-25. Leaders for the night were Maddy Andra in assists, Kerragan Gandee in serving, Bree Long in hitting, Kylie Schroeder in blocking and Becca Crawford and Isabella Joly in digs.

7th Grade White Volleyball Team
The 7th grade white volleyball team defeated Adrian yesterday  with the scores of 25-19, 25-7 and 25-14. The team leaders were Madeline Ortiz and Makenna Wilke with their awesome serving . Carly Emerson did a great job hitting and  Caitlyn Schweitzer was the lead passer of the evening. Come and cheer on the team today as they take on Lincoln at home.

NJHS members please go to Edmodo to view volunteer opportunities.  We are in need of help this Friday October 17th with our rescheduled Adopt A Road duties and help for the fundraiser pick up on October 23rd.  If you are available please sign up!

NJHS Meeting

Also NJHS officers will have a meeting tomorrow October 17th during 4a and 4b in the choir room.  NJHS officers please let your 4th hour teacher know about the meeting and get any work you will miss.

Anti- Bullying Poster Contest

Almost everyone has seen someone being picked on by a bully. It's not nice.

Bullies can make school an unpleasant place for their victims.

What are some things YOU can do to make your school a place where no one gets bullied?

Create a poster that shows what YOU can do to stop bullying at BJHS. Your poster must be turned in to Mrs. Currie in Room 220 by Monday October 27,2014.

Rules and further information can be found outside the art room, office or room 220.

Chromebooks

6th and 7th grade students - We have received notice that Chromebooks have been seen unattended during after school sporting practices/events.  Please remember that you can return to your locker after practice to retrieve your Chromebook.  Chromebooks should never be left unattended, in the gymnasium, or under a tree. It is important to remember that each student with a Chromebook signed an agreement at the beginning of the school year that states...

• I will be responsible for my Chromebook at all times.

• My Chromebook will never be left unattended

• I will store my Chromebook in my secured locker at BJHS while at sports practices or after school activities
