Boys Cross Country Team
The boys cross country team finished their season on Saturday by taking 3rd place at the State Mega Jamboree.  They were once again led by Noah Scheffer who placed 3rd overall in the state. Noah was followed closely by Jake Reame who took 6th overall. Cade Sutterfield, Steven Kraine, and Seth Murphy ran great races to also place near the front.  7th graders Noah Bock and Austin Depue ran personal best times to medal in the varsity race.  Michael Siesel, Ethan Chavalier and Patrick Dotson all ran amazing times to place up near the front of the reserve races.  Ryan Gore, Reece Thomas and Jack Geisler all ran great races for the 7th graders as well, and Tyler German ended his season with a personal best.
Not only did they finish as the 3rd ranked team in the whole state of Michigan, they will go down as one of the best cross country teams in the history of the junior high.  Great job, and great season guys!

Anti- Bullying Poster Contest
Almost everyone has seen someone being picked on by a bully. It's not nice.
Bullies can make school an unpleasant place for their victims.

What are some things YOU can do to make your school a place where no one gets bullied?

Create a poster that shows what YOU can do to stop bullying at BJHS. Your poster must be turned in to Mrs. Currie in Room 220 by Monday October 27,2014.

Rules and further information can be found outside the art room, office or room 220.
