8th Grade Red Football Team
The 8th grade red football team lost to the Adrian Maples 26-8, but dominated the second half by holding the Maples scoreless. Sacks and forced fumbles by Anthony Pisanti, Kade Carnicom, Wade Johnson, Blake Wingate and Romeo Yabara. Great running by Anthony Sailer, Anthony Pisanti and Wade Johnson. Awesome blocking by Romeo Yabara, Blake Wingate, Chad Ohneck, Cade Nelson and Alec Byerly. Nice job punting and tackling by Anthony Sailer all on the same play.

8th Grade White Football Team

The 8th grade White football team defeated Chelsea, 44-0 last night.  Bobby Slusher, Kyle Stinninger, Austin Hammer, and Austin Malabanan all scored touchdowns.  Cody McManaman, Dylan Price, and Matt Brubaker scored extra points.  Zach Kruk and Drew Burton blocked well on the oline.

The defense was led by Kyle Hennessey, who had an interception, Jackie Harris, who had two sacks, and Griffin Geiger.  Donovan Baker and Quinton Scott also played well on defense.

7th Grade Red Football Team
The 7th grade red football team lost to the Adrian Maples by a score of 44-8. Great efforts by Bryce Miller, Logan Frantz, DJ Yount, Cole Benntincourt, Connor Bogdanski, Luke Tanner and Brandon Thomas. Awesome running by Jake Ehlert, Caleb Jennings, Colin Jagielski, Danny Brower and Brody Szakovits.

Volley for the Cure T-shirts
"Volley for the Cure" t-shirts will be on sale from October 9-14th for $10 during lunch hours. If you wear your t-shirt to the game on Tuesday October 14th you get in free.

Chromebooks

6th and 7th grade students - We have received notice that Chromebooks have been seen unattended during after school sporting practices/events.  Please remember that you can return to your locker after practice to retrieve your Chromebook.  Chromebooks should never be left unattended, in the gymnasium, or under a tree. It is important to remember that each student with a Chromebook signed an agreement at the beginning of the school year that states...

• I will be responsible for my Chromebook at all times.

• My Chromebook will never be left unattended

• I will store my Chromebook in my secured locker at BJHS while at sports practices or after school activities

Bedford Public Library Announcement

Bedford Branch Library will be closed on Monday, October 13 for Columbus Day. Any students that go to the Library after school should ride the bus home or a make other arrangements.

Bus Notes

Reminder to all students - Bus notes to ride another bus home after school MUST be stamped in the office BEFORE the end of sixth hour.

Bronco Charity Club

Bronco Charity Club will have it's first meeting next Monday, October 13, 2014 after school in Mrs Currie's room 220.

Students Interact
All 7th grade students will participate in Students Interact sometime between now and February 2015. Watch for a letter to come home when your student is asked to participate. All permission slips should be turned into Mrs Connoly.
