STUDENT OF THE WEEK
Mrs Brown nominated Dylan H for student of the week. Dylan is always very pleasant, conscientious, and ready to learn.  Dylan is also always ready to help whenever he can, with no rewards expected.  Thank you Dylan for representing our school so well.

VOLLEYBALL
7TH GRADE WHITE
The 7th Grade White team defeated Monroe White team last night with scores of 25-8, 25-12, 15-7. London Z and Alaina A both led the team with 6 aces each. Emma G did a great job passing and Hannah K did a great job hitting. The girls will travel to Pinckney for the first time on Wednesday.

7TH GRADE RED
The 7th grade Red volleyball team squeaked out a win over Chelsea yesterday with the scores of 22-25, 25-11 and 25-21. The team was led by Megan W and Anika H with their super serving. Rylee H and  Chloe E led the team in passing and McKenna D led the team in hitting! Come cheer on the girls when they take on Saline this Wednesday at 4:15

8TH GRADE WHITE
The 8th grade White volleyball team improved to 14-0 last night after beating Monroe 25-13,25-8 and 15-1.  Kailey R lead the team in serving with 10 aces and Jalynn Z added 8 aces.  Krista S had 14 assets. Peighton B and Luci N each contributed 10 perfect passes while Veda L was the lead hitter for the lady broncos.  The White team travels to Pinckney on Wednesday.

T-SHIRTS FOR FRIDAY'S HOMECOMING GAME
On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday Superhero themed T-Shirts for our Homecoming Game on Friday will be on sale for $5.

HOMECOMING PARADE
Bedford High School will be having our first parade in several years. The parade is WEDNESDAY evening. Line up is at 5:30, and the parade starts at 6:00 p.m. There are twenty different groups in the parade. The parade will start at the north side of the junior high, go south on Jackman, go west on Dean Rd, and end at the football stadium. Big Ball will start at 7:00 p.m. Big Ball cost is $2.00 to enter and enjoy the game. Hope to see you there.

FUNDRAISER ITEMS
Items from our Fundraiser will be ready for pick up on Thursday October 12, 2017 from 3-7 PM in the cafeteria.  

All money from the Fundraiser will be Due the following week by Thursday, October 19, 2017.

BJHS PRIDE CLUB
Are you looking for a fun and accepting new group to be a part of?  Are you looking for a safe place where you can be yourself?  Then join us in Mr. Zill's Room 25 on Thursday, October 12, 2017 after school till 3:30 for the first-ever meeting of the BJHS Pride Club.  This week we'll be hanging out, getting to know each other and playing board games.  All are welcome, and we hope to see you there! Be sure to have a ride home.

JUGGLING CLUB
Juggling club will beginning meeting this Friday, October 13, 2017 from 2:30-3:30 in the cafeteria. Beginners to advanced jugglers are welcome.  If interested, see Mr. Allison in room 124 or check out his website for details. Or, just show up this Friday.  Be sure to have a ride home.

PICTURE RETAKES
Picture retakes are scheduled for October 26, 2017 during homeroom.  Forms can be picked up at the door monitors desk.

VOLLEY FOR THE CURE 
Bedford Varsity Volleyball is sponsoring a VOLLEY FOR THE CURE night on Thursday, October 12th in the Bedford High School gym to benefit cancer research and help those living with cancer.

"Volley for the Cure" T-shirts will be sold this week during lunches. T-shirts will cost $10. Then wear your T-shirt to the games on October 12, 2017 and you will get in FREE.

DRESS CODE
Students, while the temps stay warm, be sure to dress for the weather and for our dress code here at the school. While we certainly need to stay cool, we also need to keep our shorts and shirts within the ranges set forth in the dress code. 

BACKPACKS
Just another reminder. . . Don't carry your backpacks to class. You must keep your backpacks in your locker. 

EARLY DROP OFFS
If you are dropped off at school before 7 a.m, you need to stay in the cafeteria with Mrs. Gibson. She will release you to your lockers at 7.  

8th HOUR
8th Hour is held in the media center.  It runs from 2:35 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Meet in the front lobby by the door monitor and you will be walked to the media center   Forms can be picked up in the office.

NO CELL PHONES DURING SCHOOL HOURS
Students: Cell phones are not allowed during school hours. Your phone should be in your locker and turned off at 7:25 a.m. They cannot be used until 2:30 p.m. Cell phones are NOT permitted during lunches. 

HEALTH ROOM RULES
Students who need to go to the health room must get a pass from the teacher they are coming from AND they should also check in with their next hour teacher to let them know where they are.
