T-SHIRTS FOR FRIDAY'S WHITE OUT GAME
T-Shirts for our Varsity White Out Game on Friday are on sale for $5 during all lunches.

BJHS PRIDE CLUB - CANCELLED
The BJHS Pride Club scheduled to meet today has been cancelled.  Please ride the bus home.

JUGGLING CLUB
It's not too late to join the juggling club.  Come this Friday after school from 2:30 to 3:30.  Be sure to arrange a ride home.  You don't have to know how, just come and have fun.

BIBLE CLUB
You are cordially invited to attend Bible Club.  Bible Club will meet today from 2:30-3:30 in room 23.  Every one is welcome.

ART CLUB
Art Club will meet today from 2:30-3:30 with Mrs.Copley in room 134.  Be sure to have a ride home. 


RED RIBBON WEEK
Next week is Red Ribbon Week and the theme for this year is “Your Future Is Key, So Stay Drug Free”. Celebrate being drug free with a new theme each day!

Wednesday 10/25 - Orange day (district wide) - Orange you glad you're drug free?
Thursday 10/26 -  USA Day - Make America Free from drugs!
Friday 10/27 - Hawaiian Day - "Lei" off drugs!
Monday 10/30 - Superhero day - Save yourself from drugs!
Tuesday 10/31 - Costume Day - Scare off drugs!
We will also be selling bracelets during lunches that will sell  for $1 each that say "Live Drug Free, Drugs Are Not For Me” and Hawaiian Lei’s for Friday October 27ths theme to “Lei Off Drugs”.


Let’s show our commitment to being drug free! And please promote Red Ribbon Week with your students!

VOLLEYBALL
The seventh-grade red volleyball team defeated Monroe yesterday with the scores of 25-16, 25-2 and 25-13. Anika H served 16 points in a row and Leah B led the team in hitting. Abby D and Chloe E were dynamite on defense. Come cheer on  the girls Monday for their last home game!

The 8th grade red volleyball team defeated Monroe 25-6, 25-5, 25-15.  Leaders for the team were Katelyn A and Michaela U in serving, Katelyn An setting, Emily L in passing, and Sophia G and Grace R in hitting.  Shae H did a great job all around passing, blocking and hitting. 

The 8th grade white volleyball team beat Lincoln last night 25-19,25-13, and 25-19 to improve to 17-0 on the season. Kiley R lead the team with 11 aces and Keira L added 10 aces. Lillian N had 17 passes for the night.  Melanie C and Keri L lead the offense with their hitting.  The Broncos travel to Monroe on Monday for there last game of the season.

FUNDRAISER MONEY
All money from the Fundraiser is due by Thursday, October 19, 2017. Bring it in the morning to the front office.

PICTURE RETAKE DAY - THURSDAY, OCTOBER 26
Picture retakes are scheduled for October 26, 2017 during homeroom.  Forms can be picked up at the door monitor's deskIf you are not happy with the photo taken on picture day, bring your entire package back to school on retake day, October 26, and turn it in to the photographer when you get your picture retaken.  You will receive the same package with your new picture.  

BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION
This week is the kick off for Box Top Collection.  Please put them in a ziploc bag clearly labeled with name and homeroom and turn them into your homeroom teacher. They are due by this Friday.  The homeroom that collects the most will win a pizza party!!!

ALL MULES MATTER
All mules matter meets every Monday during your homeroom time in the media center with Mrs. Mihalec. 

DRESS CODE
Students, while the temps stay warm, be sure to dress for the weather and for our dress code here at the school. While we certainly need to stay cool, we also need to keep our shorts and shirts within the ranges set forth in the dress code. 

BACKPACKS
Just another reminder. . . Don't carry your backpacks to class. You must keep your backpacks in your locker. 

EARLY DROP OFFS
If you are dropped off at school before 7 a.m, you need to stay in the cafeteria with Mrs. Gibson. She will release you to your lockers at 7.  

8th HOUR
8th Hour is held in the media center.  It runs from 2:35 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Meet in the front lobby by the door monitor and you will be walked to the media center   Forms can be picked up in the office.

NO CELL PHONES DURING SCHOOL HOURS
Students: Cell phones are not allowed during school hours. Your phone should be in your locker and turned off at 7:25 a.m. They cannot be used until 2:30 p.m. Cell phones are NOT permitted during lunches. 

HEALTH ROOM RULES
Students who need to go to the health room must get a pass from the teacher they are coming from AND they should also check in with their next hour teacher to let them know where they are.
