VOLLEYBALL
The 8th grade red volleyball team suffered their first defeat of the season last night falling to Monroe 20-25, 23-25, 25-13.  A case of  "The Monday's" seemed to doom the Lady Broncos.  Mackenzie Fuleky served well and played a nice overall match.  Their record now stands at 3-1.

The Bedford 7th grade red volleyball team added another win to their record tonight beating the Monroe white team with scores of 25-8, 17-25, 25-15.  Leading the team with 8 serving aces each was Abby Armstrong and Becca Crawford.  Lizzie Orwig also chipped 5 aces.  Bree Long and Kerrigan Gandee did an outstanding job on defense and passing!   Kaitlyn Hennessy led the team with attacks on the net and Selena Sandoval helped the Lady Broncos out with her sets!  The girls worked hard for their win and look forward to traveling to Dexter on Wednesday!  The girls are now 8-1-1.

The  7th grade white volleyball team traveled to Adrian yesterday. Unfortunately they were defeated  by Adrian. Jenny Phillips led the team in serving and Maddie Andra did an awesome job on defense. The girls will face Chelsea at home on Wednesday.

FOOTBALL
Good luck to the red football teams today at their home games with Saline Gold in the Bedford Community Stadium beginning at 4:15 p.m.

Good luck to the white footall teams.  Today they will play in Saline against their blue teams.  A reminder to teachers and athletes; there is an early 2:00 p.m. dismissal today to allow for travel time.
