MORLEY FUNDRAISING 
Students, our Morley Fundraising is happening right now! Please be out and selling those items in support of student programs here at BJHS. Orders are due October 4, 2013.

NATIONAL JUNIOR HONOR SOCIETY
Attention NJHS members.  We will be meeting in the Media Center during 4th hour on Tuesday.  Make sure you bring your lunch to the meeting. 

BE CAREFUL WHERE YOU WALK!!!!
When students walk to school, they should please use the sidewalk next to the high school by the grass and not the sidewalk island next to the bus depot.  We want to make sure everyone is safe.  With the dark mornings now, it is unsafe to walk on the through the depot.

EMERGENCY MEDICAL FORMS
If you did not turn in your Emergency Medical Form, please turn it in.  (Forms are green, yellow, or  salmon;.and they were mailed home in the summer mailing.)  Remember to update all contact numbers and sign the back.  To change a student's address, you must present a Michigan Driver's License with the current address, mortgage or lease paper, and a utility bill.

8TH HOUR
Eighth hour is open to all students at BJHS. Eighth hour is held every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 2:35-3:25 p.m.  Mrs. Benisatto will meet students at the double doors in the front lobby. VOLLEYBALL
This past weekend the 7th grade white volleyball team participated in the SEC tournament. They made it to the Gold division bracket, but were defeated by eventual runner-up, Saline. Megan Chmiel led the team in serving and Paige Anstine did an awesome job serving and on defense.

The 7th grade re volleyball team had an excellent weekend at the SEC Tournament.  They went 5-0-1 for the day, taking first place int he Gold bracket.  Bree Long had an outstanding day with her serves.  She had 44 aces!  Karsyn Wolf had 30 aces and Abby Armstrong also had 24 aces!  Kaitlyn Hennessy and Becca Crawford were a powerhouse with their hitting!  Selena Sandoval and Levi Lenard did a great job setting for the Broncos.  Kerrigan Gandee and Hannah Bojarski were pivotal layers on the net!  Joselyn Potter  Lizzio Orwig, and Evita Oraha did an excellent job with passing!  Overall, the Lady Broncos played like they wanted the title of the SEC Champs!  They look forward to playing Monroe today here at home at 4:15 p.m.

On September 18, the 8th grade white volleyball team beat Saline 21-25, 25-21, 26-24.  Leaders for the night were Katrina Reynolds in hitting, Olivia Scally in assists and Emily Waite in serving. 

On Monday, September 23, the 8th grade red team beat Lincoln 25-19, 25-19, and 25-17.  Team leaders were Emily Waite in hitting, Olivia Scally in assists, and Stephanie Cook in serving.  The team played in memory and honor of Kelsey. 

On Wednesday, September 25,  the 8th grade red team lost to Dexter 2-25, 25-16, 24-26.  Team leaders were Heidi Fausze in hitting, Emily Waite in assists, and Katrina Reynolds in serving. 

Good luck to the red volleyball teams.  They host Monroe White today beginning at 4:15 in the BJHS Gym/

Good luck to the white volleyball teams.  They travel to play Adrian.  There is an early 2:15 release today to allow for travel time.
 
CROSS COUNTRY
The girls cross country team competed at the Clay Eagle Invitational this past Saturday, claiming 7th place out of 14 teams.  Autumn Oxer took 9th place, Kaitlin Kochendoerfer 27th, Caitlin Stieber 35th, and Olivia Cook 37th out of 150 runners.  Running personal best times for the season were Haydn Goldberg, Caitlin Stieber, Moriah Torongeau, and Sadey Turner.  The Lady Bbroncos' next race will be this coming Saturday at Fostoria. 

The boys cross country team took third place out of 22 teams at the Clay Eagle Invitational on Saturday.  They were led by outstanding performances from most of the team.  Personal best times were run by Noah Scheffer, Jacob Reaume, Camden Ball, Alex Zittleman, Cody Clark, Colin Bell, Justin Bennett, Ethan Chevalier and Ian Kolar.  Michael Greeley took first place overall, once again.  Check out their sweet team trophy on display in the office.
