MORLEY FUNDRAISING 
Students, our Morley Fundraising is happening right now! Please be out and selling those items in support of student programs here at BJHS. Orders are due October 4, 2013.

BE CAREFUL WHERE YOU WALK!!!!
When students walk to school, they should please use the sidewalk next to the high school by the grass and not the sidewalk island next to the bus depot.  We want to make sure everyone is safe.  With the dark mornings now, it is unsafe to walk on the through the depot.

EMERGENCY MEDICAL FORMS
If you did not turn in your Emergency Medical Form, please turn it in.  (Forms are green, yellow, or  salmon;.and they were mailed home in the summer mailing.)  Remember to update all contact numbers and sign the back.  To change a student's address, you must present a Michigan Driver's License with the current address, mortgage or lease paper, and a utility bill.

BUS INFORMATION
Students should ride their own bus home.  Even with a signed note, if there is not enough room, guests may be turned away from the bus in the afternoon. 
   
8TH HOUR
Eighth hour is open to all students at BJHS. Eighth hour is held every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 2:35-3:25 p.m.  Mrs. Benisatto will meet students at the double doors in the front lobby. VOLLEYBALL
The 8th red volleyball team traveled to play Chelsea Gold and battled for a 25-17, 19-25, 25-17 victory. Koryn King and Morgan Gladieux led the offense with 7 kills each, while Courtney Jagielski, and Katie Scurlock were solid on defense with 7 digs each.  Their record now stands at 3-0.

The 7th grade red volleyball team added another win to their record last night as they beat Chelsea 25-20, 22-25, 25-15.  Karyn led the Lady Broncos with 9 aces.  Becca Crawford and Abby Armstrong also has 6 aces each.  Once again, Bree Long did an excellent job on defense.  Kerrigan Gandee did an outstanding job up front on the net with her locking, hitting, and tipping.  Hannah Bojarski also did a great job for the Broncos by adding her 3 aces and 4 serves in for the girls.  The girls will face all the teams this Saturday at Bedford High School in the SEC Tournament!  Come on out and show your support for the girls!  The girls look forward to playing hard and adding some wins to their record this weekend.

The 7th grade white volleyball team defeated Dexter with the scores of 25-14 and 25-10.  Jenny Phillips led the team in serving and Sara Koviac did an outstanding job on defense.

CROSS COUNTRY
The girls cross country team faced a tough league jamboree this past Wednesday at Hudson Mills in Dexter.  The team came in 4th place overall, just missing third place by 2 seconds!  Congratulations to Autumn Oxer, who finished in 12th place, Kaitlin Kochendoerfer who finished in 24th, and Jillian Sutter who took 28th place with a personal best time of 15 minutes 10 seconds.  Other personal best running times included Olivia Cook, Alli Smith, Sadey Turner, and Baylee Canning.  Olivia Cook, Alli Smith, Caitlin Stieber, Baylee Canning, Sadey Turner, and Moriah Torongeau all finished in the top 50. Great running ladies!  Good luck at the Clay Invitational on Saturday!

FOOTBALL SCORES
White Team : Home Vs Lincoln

The 7th Grade white team lost to Lincoln by as score of 26-0
Impressive efforts given by Jacob Gladieux, Connor Frantz, Alex Jones and Kyle Stinninger.

The 8th Grade White Beat Lincoln by a score of 24-6
Jacob Garner scored 2 touchdowns; one by an aggressive run, the other by connecting with Brock Andrews on a long pass.
Jordan Cooker ran for the 1st touchdown score of the game, thus beginning the Bronco’s stampede of Lincoln.  

Red Team: @ Chealsea

The 7th Grade Red team beat Chelsea by a score of 30 - 7.
Strong performances by Wade Johnson who ran for 2 touchdowns, Nathan Sailor who caught a touchdown and Kyle Hennessy who had 2 interceptions to bring his season total to 4.

The: 8th Grade Red team crushed the Bulldogs by a score of 49 - 0
Spectacular performances by the entire offensive and defensive line groups.
Other standout performances by Evan Roach, Josh Vislay, Bryce Mugler, Mason Hullibarger , Aba Risely and Luke Beadle.
