MORLEY FUNDRAISING 
Students, our Morley Fundraising is happening right now! Please be out and selling those items in support of student programs here at BJHS. Orders are due October 4, 2013.

BE CAREFUL WHERE YOU WALK!!!!
When students walk to school, they should please use the sidewalk next to the high school by the grass and not the sidewalk island next to the bus depot.  We want to make sure everyone is safe.  With the dark mornings now, it is unsafe to walk on the through the depot.

EMERGENCY MEDICAL FORMS
If you did not turn in your Emergency Medical Form, please turn it in on Monday.  (Forms are green, yellow, or  salmon;.and they were mailed home in the summer mailing.)  Remember to update all contact numbers and sign the back.  To change a student's address, you must present a Michigan Driver's License with the current address, mortgage or lease paper, and a utility bill.

BUS INFORMATION
Students should ride their own bus home.  Even with a signed note, if there is not enough room, guests may be turned away from the bus in the afternoon. 
   
8TH HOUR
Eighth hour is open to all students at BJHS. Eighth hour is held every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 2:35-3:25 p.m.  Mrs. Benisatto will meet students at the double doors in the front lobby. ELEVATE PROGRAM
Students who signed up for the MEAP Elevate Program should meet in the flex lab, rooms 34 and 35, after school today.

VOLLEYBALL
The 8th grade red volleyball team  pushed its record to 2-0 on the season by defeating Saline 26-24, 25-16, 25-23.  Down 22-15 in the first game, Belle Winters served 8 straight to put the team in the lead; and they never looked back.  Belle had 15 service points on the day.  Haily Walling got the coaches award for executing what she was asked to do. The Broncos travel to Chelsea on Wednesday looking to stay undefeated.

The 7th grade red volleyball team beat Saline last night with scores of 25-19, 25-15, 16-25.  Karsyn Wolf led the team with an outstanding 12 aces.  Bree Long also chipped in 7 aces.  Lizzie Orwig did a great job on defense.  The girls will travel to Chelsea on Wednesday.

SHREK AUDITIONS - TODAY
Attentions to all students interested in performing.  Shrek auditions are Tuesday, September 24.  Auditions start at  5:00PM and end at  8:00PM.  Auditions are held at the SHS Auditorium.  Click here for more information.  

VOLLEY FOR THE CURE
Bedford Varsity Volleyball is sponsoring "Volley for the Cure" on Tuesday, October 8, 2013, in the Bedford High School Gym to benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation.  Forms to commemorate a loved one who has been touched by cancer are available in the junior high office.  The cost is $10/  The name of your loved one will be printed on the back of the event t-shirts.  If  you wish to order a t-shirt, the cost is $10.  The shirt will get you in to the game for free.  The deadline to submit forms for names and/or t-shirts is Tuesday, TODAY, September 24.  Be sure to get your form today!

COMMUNITY EDUCATION - GIRLS' BASKETBALL LEAGUE
The deadline to register for the girls' basketball league has been extended.  Please contact the Community Education Office 734 850-6036  for more information.
