MEAP TESTING BEGAN YESTERDAY
Yesterday was the first day of MEAP testing. Students continue testing today from 8:10 to 9:40 a.m. Juice boxes were given to students in their first hour before MEAP Testing began.  It is important that our whole school tries  to do their very best and make BJHS proud!

MORLEY FUNDRAISING 
Morley orders were due last Friday.  If you have any Morley orders, please bring them to the office. 

BOYS -  REMEMBER BATHROOM ETIQUETTE
Attention boys; remember bathroom etiquette; clean up, don't leave messes, and do not hang or pull on any soap dispensers or urinals.  

YEARBOOKS ON SALE TODAY
Today is the first day of yearbook sales; and it is the cheapest time to purchase one.  Make sure you order your yearbook early; the price increases soon.  The cost is only $43.   Yearbooks are sold during all lunch hours.  Make checks payable to BJHS.    

NATIONAL JUNIOR HONOR SOCIETY - TOMORROW
All NJHS students interested in making red ribbon week posters should meet in the art room on Thursday, October 10, from 2:30 - 4:00 p.m.


BRONCO CHARITY CLUB
The Bronco Charity Club will have its first meeting of the year next Tuesday, October 15, from 2:30-3:30 p.m. The club is open to any BJHS student interested in doing good deeds and charity work. Last year the club did fundraisers for Monroe County Humane Society, adopted a family at Christmas, made gifts for the local Sr. Citizens home, and many other fun activities. Please see Mrs. Currie in room # 203 for more information. 

BE CAREFUL WHERE YOU WALK!!!!
When students walk to school, they should please use the sidewalk next to the high school by the grass and not the sidewalk island next to the bus depot.  We want to make sure everyone is safe.  With the dark mornings now, it is unsafe to walk on the through the depot.

EMERGENCY MEDICAL FORMS
If you did not turn in your Emergency Medical Form, please turn it in.  (Forms are green, yellow, or  salmon;.and they were mailed home in the summer mailing.)  Remember to update all contact numbers and sign the back.  To change a student's address, you must present a Michigan Driver's License with the current address, mortgage or lease paper, and a utility bill.

8TH HOUR
Eighth hour is open to all students at BJHS. Eighth hour is held every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 2:35-3:25 p.m.  Mrs. Benisatto will meet students at the double doors in the front lobby. FOOTBALL
The 7th Grade combined Red and White teams also known as the “Pink” Team played at Dexter last night.  The Pink team Sunk the Dreadnaughts by a score of 22 to Zero.  The Pink team is undefeated on the season, due to great cooperative efforts given by all the 7th grade players.  
Great contributions were given by: Connor Frantz, Wade Johnson, Anthony Pisanti, Donivan Baker, Cade Canicom, Kyle Hennessey, Chad Ohneck, David Waxler and Jackson Harris.

The 8th Grade White team won by a score of 52 - 0, over Chelsea.  This win by the White team completes the sweep of the Bulldogs this season, and takes the 8th grade White team to a record of 2-2 with two games left.  
Awesome efforts given by Hunter Gandee, Derrick Garcia, Collin Woolford, Drake Smith, Vito Lucarelli, Jarod Bronikowski, Jacob Garner, Jordan Cooker, Bryce Krimmel, Brock Andrews, and Austin Emerson.

The 8th Grade Red Team beat the Dreadnaughts by a score of 43 - Zero last night.  Bringing the Red teams score total over the last three games to 120 - Zero.  Eighth grade red team is now 3-1 on the season.  Superb efforts were given by Blake Grzegorczyk,  Brady Long, Aba Risley, Jeff Brushaber, Justin Woodruff, Zach Vogel, Kyle Huddgin, Jarad Fink, Mason Hullibarger, Luke Beadle and Bryce Mugler.

VOLLEYBALL
The red volleyball teams will host Tecumseh today beginning at 415 p.m.

The white volleyball team will travel to play Saline Blue.  There is an early 2:15 p.m. release today to allow for travel time.

CROSS COUNTRY
The cross country teams will travel to run in the Adrian Jamboree.  The jamboree begins at 4:15 p.m.

Will you chase the living to the finish line (Dressed as a Zombie)? OR Fear the dead that run with you as you fly through the park and into the woods where Zombies are already lurking?
How fast can you run from the dead?
Hurry! Watch the clock to see if you can make it to safety before your time runs out on Saturday, October 19, at Indian Creek Park.  Registration begins at 4:00 p.m. and the race starts at 5 p.m.
Top prizes will be awarded to the top 3 men and women and best Zombie costume. You must be registered to win.  The entry fee is $20
If you register by Friday, October 11, you will receive a Zombie Run t-shirt.
