OCTOBER 5, 2015

GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY
On a cold, rainy Saturday, down seven runners, the girls cross country team prevailed and placed third out of thirteen teams at the Clay Invitational.  Isabella Johnson, Madison Norton, Makayla Orner, Dayna Dec, and Alex Knapp scored for the team.  Kate Conlan, Madison Orner, Ava Fekete, and Savannah Trombley had significant personal records.  Congratulations to all of our runners.
BOYS CROSS COUNTRY
The junior high boys cross country team continued their winning streak on Saturday by winning the Clay Invitational.  They raced well through the wind and rain.  Austin Depue, Noah Bock, Seth Oxer, Ty Smith and Jack Geisler led the team.  The team has won their last 4 meets, and have beaten 95 teams while only losing to 4 so far this season.  Amazing job guys.  They race next at the Fostoria Invitational on Saturday.

BOX TOPS
Reminder to all staff and students!  Collecting Box Tops is a great way to earn money for school!  The 4th hour that brings in the most box tops in September and October will receive a donut party during 4th hour!  Collect your box tops, write your 4th hour teacher's name on the collection sheet or baggie and place in the collection box in the front lobby.  It's that easy!

Students please remember to limit what you take to each class. Chromebooks can not be stacked on several books. The bottom of the blue case has support to one book only. Carrying several books increases the chance for your chromebook to slip and break. Broken chromebooks will have to pay a $25 deductible to get it fixed.

6th and 8th Grade Students:
Students should always carry chromebook cases by the handle.
