GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY
The cross country girls finished their season Saturday at the Mega Jamboree.  We finished 6th out of 18 in the varsity race and 7th our of 11 in the open race.  11 girls matched or beat their PRs for the season.  Lauren Falzone, Brooke Flowers, and Miriam Shikwana had notable PRs.  In the competition this year, the team had three top finishes and three top three finishes.  Congratulations to the team for a great season.  Go Broncos!

8TH GRADE RED VOLLEYBALL
The 8th grade red volleyball team defeated Tecumseh 25-19, 25-16, 19-25.  Leaders for the team were Carly Emerson in hitting, Abby Beck in setting and Alyssa Griner in hitting and passing.  They ended their season with an overall record of 12-2-2. 

8TH GRADE WHITE VOLLEYBALL
The 8th grade white volleyball team ended the season with a win against Ypsilanti tonight! The scores were 25-8, 25-8, 25-11, leaving the lady Broncos with a final record of 13-3-1! Great job Aubrie Zeunen, Ellie Ostermyer, Makenna Wilt, Jessica Steinman, Britney Deily, Chloe Hildebrand-Leng, Isabelle Striggow, Maggie Granata, Torrie Cleavenger, Elena Malicki, Maddie Zielinski, and Jayda Copciac on a fantastic season! Thank you Ronnie Steinman and Amelia Malicki for being our managers this year. Congratulations again on all your successes! 

7TH GRADE RED VOLLEYBALL
Congratulations to the 7th grade Red volleyball team by finishing their season strong by defeating Tecumseh with the scores of 13-25, 25-15 and 25-7. The girls ended the regular season with 11-0 record. Great job girls!

7TH GRADE WHITE VOLLEYBALL
The 7th Grade White Volleyball Team finished their season last night with a strong game against Ypsilanti with scores of 25-4, 25-9, and 15-7. Savanna Killinen, Keke McNutt and Kamryn Wolf led the team with their powerful serving. Katie Hicks, Grace Johnson, Ava Manard and Kenzie Palmer all had some great Kills up on the net. Izzy Loe, Sydnee Sowash, Chloe Boros, Hanna Vickery and Kara Swartz all had an excellent defensive game. A special thanks to our manager Tatum Pack, without her non of the stats this season would have been possible! The girls worked very hard this season and crushed their competition each week leaving them with an undefeated title of 17-0-1, as well as being crowned the SEC Tournament Champs. Coach Moran is very proud of how much each player has improved their skills and how hard they have worked all season! Congrats on a great year!!

RED RIBBON WEEK
This week is National Red Ribbon week. We are celebrating encouraging abstinence and good actions in our students through a fun-filled week of themed dates. These include: Monday as Red Ribbon day, Tuesday as Superhero day (Be a hero, don't do drugs), Wednesday as Hat day (Put a cap on drugs), and Thursday as Costume day (Drugs are scary!). 

THURSDAY'S COSTUME DAY RULES
For Thursday's costume day and the dance, please keep in mind that you must abide by the school dress code. Make sure your costumes are modest and you do not bring anything that resembles weapons. BJHS dances are for BJHS students only. No students from other schools are permitted to attend.

PICTURE RETAKES
Picture Retake Day is Thursday, Ocotber 29 during lunches. Please bring your picture packet or an order form and money to lunch with you. 

JUNIOR HIGH CHEER
Junior High Cheer tryouts start next week.  Pick up a tryout packet in the office.

Open Gym
Any 7th and 8th grade girl interested in trying out for basketball there will be an open gym this Sunday from 5-6:30PM at the junior high. 

HALLOWEEN PARTY
There will be a Bake Sale today through Thursday during lunches to raise money for the Halloween Party.  

They will also start selling tickets to the Halloween Party for $5.00 during lunches.

BOX TOPS
Reminder to all staff and students!  Collecting Box Tops is a great way to earn money for school!  The 4th hour that brings in the most box tops in September and October will receive a donut party during 4th hour!  Collect your box tops, write your 4th hour teacher's name on the collection sheet or baggie and place in the collection box in the front lobby.  It's that easy!

CHROMEBOOK REMINDER
Attention 7th Grade Students:
Students please remember to limit what you take to each class. Chromebooks can not be stacked on several books. The bottom of the blue case has support to one book only. Carrying several books increases the chance for your chromebook to slip and break. Broken chromebooks will have to pay a $25 deductible to get it fixed.

6th and 8th Grade Students:
Students should always carry chromebook cases by the handle.

Students, please remember you need to report to your next class before coming to the Health Room. Do not stop in between classes unless it is an emergency.

DRESS CODE REMINDER
No leggings, yogas pants or joggers unless the top is fingertip length or longer. Also shorts and skirts are to be fingertip length or longer.

BUS NOTE REMINDER
Bus notes MUST be stamped before the 2:25 pm bell.
