OCTOBER 12, 2015

GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY
The girls cross country team placed 2nd out of 21 teams at the Fostoria Invitational on SaturdayBelle Easton, Isabella Johnson, Olivia Kruk, Laney Cubberly, and Madison Norton scored for the team.  Anna Garcia, Lizzy Lietaert, Abby Anderson, and Kathryn Falzone had significant personal records.  Congratulations to all of our runners.   

BOYS CROSS COUNTRY
The junior high boys cross country team won their 5th meet in a row on Saturday by taking first at the Fostoria invitational.  They beat 40 schools at the meet to winn the championship.  Great races were turned in by all of the runners.  Jack Geisler, Patrick Dotson, Caden Bodine, Jaden Turner, Matthew Kochendoerfer, Brian Sullivan, Reece Thomas, Jack Miller, Josh Schaffer, and Sam Ramsey all ran personal best times.  The boys remain one of the top teams in Michigan as they enter their final 2 weeks of the season.  They run against the SEC league teams on Wednesday for the 3rd and final league meet of the season.  Wish the boys luck as they go to defend their undefeated league record.  

BRONCO CHARITY CLUB
Bronco charity club's 1st meeting will be October 19, 2015 in room 220.  

FOOTBALL SPIRIT WEAR
Tuesday, October 13th, is the last Junior High game that Bedford Spirit wear will be available.  Sales start at 5:00 pm and last until after the 8th grade half time.

SPIRIT WEAR
PTSA will be ditributing spirit wear the middle of next week!  Sorry for the delay - production began after the store closed September 17th. 

BEDFORD ZOMBIE RUN

STUDENTS INTERACT
7th grade students interact begins October 14, 2015.
New this year student's invitations will be sent by e-mail......so check your email for your invite.  Turn all permission slips into Mrs Connolly.

GIRLS BASKETBALL 
Any girls not participating in a fall sport and are interested in getting a jum start on basketball can come to the high school Open Gyms on Tuesdays right after school until 4:00PM and Thursday nights from 6:30-8:00PM starting tonight.  Come alone or bring a friend and play against good high school competition.  If you have questions, see Mr. Burgermeister in Room #27.

BOX TOPS
Reminder to all staff and students!  Collecting Box Tops is a great way to earn money for school!  The 4th hour that brings in the most box tops in September and October will receive a donut party during 4th hour!  Collect your box tops, write your 4th hour teacher's name on the collection sheet or baggie and place in the collection box in the front lobby.  It's that easy!

CHROMEBOOK REMINDER
Attention 7th Grade Students:
Students please remember to limit what you take to each class. Chromebooks can not be stacked on several books. The bottom of the blue case has support to one book only. Carrying several books increases the chance for your chromebook to slip and break. Broken chromebooks will have to pay a $25 deductible to get it fixed.

6th and 8th Grade Students:
Students should always carry chromebook cases by the handle.

PASSES REMINDER
Students, please remember you need to report to your next class before coming to the Health Room. Do not stop in between classes unless it is an emergency.

DRESS CODE REMINDER
No leggings, yogas pants or joggers unless the top is fingertip length or longer. Also shorts and skirts are to be fingertip length or longer.

BUS NOTE REMINDER
Bus notes MUST be stamped before the 2:25 pm bell.
