8th Grade Red Basketball Team
Bedford Red 8th grade opened the season on the road with a victory over Chelsea Gold 28-21.  Tyler Welch and Bobby Slusher led the scoring.  Austin Malabanan, Kyle Hennessey and Garrett Sexton also played well.

8th Grade White Basketball Team
The 8th grade white team started off slow but found a way down the stretch to win 19 - 16 over Dexter.  Jackie Harris led the way with 18 points.

8th grade white practice will be 1 to 3pm.    Not after school!!!!

7th Grade Red Basketball Team
Bedford Red 7th grade basketball team started the season with a win over Chelsea Gold 15-13.  Derek Price led the scoring with 10 points followed by Ryan Sullivan with 9 points and Noah Anderson with 6.  


Reflections Arts Contest Call for Entries

The theme this year is: "The World Would Be a Better Place If..."

Students can offer their creative interpretations of this theme in any of the following categories:

Visual Arts
Photography
Literature
Film/Video Production
Dance Choreography 
or Music Composition

Students can submit multiple entries in multiple categories. Each complete entry gets their name in a drawing for a $25 Amazon Gift Certificate.

Deadline is December 5th by Noon. Turn entries in at the Media Center.

Bedford's Got Talent
Do you sing, dance, play an instrument? Come out to audition for Bedford's Got Talent. Auditions will be held at Mt. Carmel Church today from 7:00-9:30 pm. Hope to see you there!

Yearbook
Year books are on sale now for $45.00.
The online price is $45.00 plus $2.00 service fee. 


The BJHS School Publication department is offering an "early bird" special for $40.00 only at the junior high school until Thanksgiving. In order to receive the special price, the books must be ordered in the cafeteria during lunches.  
After that the price goes up to $43.00 through Winter break.  All sales after that will be $45.00 and sale of the yearbook ends on Valentines.

Bronco Charity Club
The Bronco Charity Club meets after school on Monday for anyone that is interested.

They are also collecting pop tabs for the Ronald McDonald Houses. SO PLEASE DONATE YOUR POP TABS!

Art Club
Will only meet November 20, 2014 this month. Regular schedule will resume in December.

Chromebooks
6th and 7th grade students - We have received notice that Chromebooks have been seen unattended during after school sporting practices/events. Please remember that you can return to your locker after practice to retrieve your Chromebook. Chromebooks should never be left unattended, in the gymnasium, or under a tree. It is important to remember that each student with a Chromebook signed an agreement at the beginning of the school year that states...
I will be responsible for my Chromebook at all times.
My Chromebook will never be left unattended
I will store my Chromebook in my secured locker at BJHS while at sports practices or after school activities

Bus Notes
Reminder to all students - Bus notes to ride another bus home after school MUST be stamped in the office BEFORE the end of sixth hour.
