STUDENT OF THE WEEK
Mrs. Regnier chose Grace C. as our Student of the Week. Grace is a sweet girl with a kind heart. She is a hard worker with a great attitude. She is always striving to do her best. She doesn't complain and is always willing to help others. She has a contagious smile and brings a positive attitude to class everyday.
MATH-A-THON
Any student who still has Math-a-thon pledges, please bring them to room 23. Thank you to all students who participated in helping St. Jude Hospital help kids with cancer.
ROBOTICS
Congratulations to our Classical Engineers FIRST Robotics team for being the 6th ranked team after qualifications, and for advancing to the World Championship, which will be held at Cobo Hall in Detroit on April 25-28.
KNITTING CLUB
There will be no knitting club tomorrow, March 20, 2018.

LACROSSE
Boys lacrosse practices start today and will be Monday thru Thursday. Practices are from 5-7:00 each day. They will be held at the far North-East corner of Indian Creek park. If you are not sure where it is, get a hold of Coach Ullery before Monday.
SOFTBALL
7th and 8th grade girls softball tryouts will be held in the junior high gym from 3-5:30 starting today, you must bring an updated physical to be able to participate, please be prepared for either indoor or outdoor with equipment and clothes.
BOYS AND GIRLS TRACK
BJHS Boys and Girls Track Season will begin on today. Practice will be held from 2:45 until 4:15 p.m. Please be prepared for very cold and wet weather, and have a MHSAA physical dated as of April 15, 2017

RECYCLING AT BJHS
Stop.... don't throw away your old , dried up markers!
We are excited to participate in collecting and converting our markers into clean energy.
Teachers, this also includes dry erase markers. There is a container behind the door monitor, please put all old markers in this container!
Together, we are helping our planet one handful of markers at a time!
ALL MULES MATTER
All mules matter meets every Monday during homeroom time in the media center with Mrs. Mihalec.

BUS NOTES
Bus notes need to be brought to the office in the morning to be stamped before school starts. Absolutely no notes will be stamped after the afternoon announcements. If the note is not stamped you will have to ride your normal bus home.
EXIT PASSES
Exit passes can be given if a written note from home is turned into the office. All notes are to be brought to the office before school starts so your exit pass can be written. Then you are to report to the door monitor at the time indicated on your pass. Once your ride arrives you can exit the build to go to your appointment. You CAN NOT exit the building without a pass. Make sure to turn your note into the main office before the morning bell so they can issue you a exit pass.
BACKPACKS
Just another reminder. . . Don't carry your backpacks to class. You must keep your backpacks in your locker.
EARLY DROP OFFS
If you are dropped off at school before 7 a.m, you need to stay in the cafeteria with Mrs. Gibson. She will release you to your lockers at 7.
8th HOUR
8th Hour is held in the media center. It runs from 2:35 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Meet in the front lobby by the door monitor and you will be walked to the media center Forms can be picked up in the office.
NO CELL PHONES DURING SCHOOL HOURS
Students: Cell phones are not allowed during school hours. Your phone must be in your locker and turned off at 7:25 a.m. They cannot be used until 2:30 p.m. Cell phones are NOT permitted during lunches.
HEALTH ROOM RULES
Students who need to go to the health room must get a pass from the teacher they are coming from AND they should also check in with their next hour teacher to let them know where they are.
