STUDENT OF THE WEEK
Alex B. is an outstanding student in Spanish 2. His positive attitude and his exemplary work ethic make him a leader among his peers. Alex is always asking great questions. He likes to challenge himself and to take his knowledge of Spanish to the next level. Alex is involved in extra curricular activities and is a leader outside of the classroom as well. Congratulations Alex on being Student of the Week!  

BOYS CROSS COUNTRY
The junior high boys cross country team won again on Saturday at the Cardinal Stritch Invitational.  They were led by Collin B., won placed 6th out the 233 runners in the race.  Leo W. and Parker M. ran great races to also finish in the top 20.  8th grader Ryan P., 7th graders Hussein J., and Anthony K. and 6th graders Braiden W., Gabe T. and Grant S all ran personal best times to help the team.  Another great win guys.  Keep up the undefeated season!

ART CLUB
Art club will begin on Thursday September 28th and meet weekly on Thursdays in room 134 from 2:30-3:30pm.  All are welcome to attend!

DRESS CODE
Students, while the temps stay warm, be sure to dress for the weather and for our dress code here at the school. While we certainly need to stay cool, we also need to keep our shorts and shirts within the ranges set forth in the dress code. 

VOLLEY JUNIORS
Last chance for Volley Juniors for 6th grade girls. It starts Monday September 25, 2017. Forms are in the office.

VOLLEY FOR THE CURE
"Volley for the Cure" forms are due to the High School by September 28, 2017 to do an "In Memory or Honor" of name.  You can pre-order T-shirts or they will be sold the week of the game, October 9, 10, 11, 2017. But sizes can not be guaranteed if not pre-ordered.

Cardiovascular Testing Offered
This will be held at the High School on Monday, October 9, 2017 from 9:00 AM until 4:00 PM.  Any student from 12 - 25 years old are eligible for the test.  If you are interested, schedule your appointment and complete the paperwork.  Go on line at  www.wimbledonhealthpartners.com/bedfordor call 1-855-200-8262.

DO NOT CARRY YOUR BACKPACKS TO CLASS
Just another reminder. . . Don't carry your backpacks to class. You must keep your backpacks in your locker. 

EARLY DROP OFFS
If you are dropped off at school before 7 a.m, you need to stay in the cafeteria with Mrs. Gibson. She will release you to your lockers at 7.  

8th HOUR
8th Hour is held in the media center.  It runs from 2:35 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Meet in the front lobby by the door monitor and you will be walked to the media center   Forms can be picked up in the office.

NO CELL PHONES DURING SCHOOL HOURS
Students: Cell phones are not allowed during school hours. Your phone should be in your locker and turned off at 7:25 a.m. They cannot be used until 2:30 p.m. Cell phones are NOT permitted during lunches. 

HEALTH ROOM RULES
Students who need to go to the health room must get a pass from the teacher they are coming from AND they should also check in with their next hour teacher to let them know where they are.
