STUDENTS INTERACT 
Students attending tomorrow's session of Students Interact should remember to collect classwork for tomorrow from their teachers today.  Meet in the cafeteria tomorrow morning.  Do not go to first hour.  Attendance will be taken in the cafeteria.  Be sure to bring your coat with you.

YEARBOOK PICTURES - CLUB SPORTS - TRAVEL VOLLEYBALL
During seventh hour, the yearbook staff will be taking pictures for travel volleyball teams. Please wear your team jersey if it is available.

JUGGLING CLUB – CANCELLED
Juggling Club has been cancelled today.  It will resume next week.

CHESS CLUB - TODAY
Chess Club will meet today from 2:30 – 3:30 p.m. in Dr. Robinson’s room # 130.

SHAKESPEARE IN THE COURTYARD - PRACTICE - WEDNESDAY
Practice for Shakespeare in the Courtyard will be held on Wednesday from 2:30 - 3:30 p.m. in Dr. Robinson's room # 130.

YOUNG ARTISTS CLUB - THURSDAY
The Young Artists Club will meet on Thursday from 2:30 - 4:00 p.m. in room # 130.

ST. JUDE CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL - MATH-A-THON
Your permission slip, which is the perforated section on your pledge packet, must be turned in by Thursday, March 6.  Please be sure to mark whether you will be using the Online Funbook or the Printed Funbook.  
If you are using the Online Funbook for the math problems, you may begin getting your pledges and doing the problems as soon as your permission slip is turned in.  If you need the Printed Funbook, you may start getting pledges as soon as your permission slip is turn in; but, you will have to wait for the book to be delivered to start dong the math problems.  All donations should be either in a check form, made out to St. Jude Children's Hosp[ital, or they can be made online using a credit card.  Don't forget about the lock-in that we are having for anyone who turns in $100 or more in pledges.  Thank you for all  you are doing.  If you have any questions, see Mrs. Brown in room # 230.

ORCHESTRA/ BAND FESTIVAL RESULTS
Congratulations go out to our seventh and eighth grade orchestra students who particpated in the District Orchestra Festival in Livonia, Michigan this past Saturday.  The orchestra received an overall second division rating (second highest possible).  The group also received a first division rating in sight reading which tests a group's overall musicianship skills.  Way to go BJHS Orchestra Broncos! 

Congratulations to the 7th grade band students.  They received a 3 at the festival.

Congratulations to the 8th grade band students.  They received a 2.

ALL STUDENTS - LITERARY MAGAZINE
The Yearbook staff is also accepting poetry, short stories, vignettes, and other vehicles of expression for our annual Literary Magazine.  Please submit your entries in the box located in the office.

GIRLS’ BASKETBALL
The Bedford 7th grade girls' red basketball team lost a thriller to Monroe White 14-13.  Caitlin Steiber led the scoring.  Morgan Gladieux led the rebounding and Kate Chuhy led the team in steals. 

The Bedford 8th grade red team beat Monroe White 22-0.  Kaylee Whitfoth and Jaycie Harris led the scoring with 10 points each.
 
The Bedford 7th grade girls' white team defeated Adrian 24-11.  Lynsey Spotts led in steals and scoring with 17 points. 
  
The Bedford 8th grade white team defeated Adrian 22-4.  Alexa Libstorff led 10 different scorers.  Diana Pudlicki and Cassidy Heer led in rebounding.  Faith Jankowski and Cassidy Killinen also played well. 

TODAY the 7 and 8th grade girls' white basketball teams will play their last home games of the season against Monroe Red.   Come back to school at 4:15 p.m. and support the Broncos!.   

GRAPPLERETTES - MEETING CANCELLED
The grapplerette meeting is cancelled tonight.  The banquet will be held tomorrow at 5:30 p.m. in the BJHS Cafeteria.

WRESTLING
The wrestling banquet will be held on Wednesday, March 6, 2013, in the BJHS Cafeteria from 5:30-7:00 p.m.

7/8TH GRADE GIRLS' AND BOYS' TRACK
The 7th and 8th grade boys and girls track and field begin on Monday, March 18, 2013.  You must have a completed physical on file to begin practice.  If this is your first sport for the school year, you need to pick up a physical form in the office or from Coach Bauer in the health room.  Your doctor must fill out the physical  form before the first day of practice.
Girls interested in track should sign up with Coach Bauer in the health room or Coach Davis in Room # 2.
Boys interested in being on the track  team should sign up with Coach Muck in room # 201.  
There are no tryouts for track.  
     
SOIREE JUNIOR SINGERS
Join the Soiree!  Become a Soiree Junior Singer!  This is your chance to share the spotlight and share the joy of performing at Bedford High School.  There will be TWO performances just for the Soiree Juniors and the Soiree Singers along with some special guest performances.  Students will also have an opportunity to perform as a soloist through special auditions called "Bedford Junior Idol".  Soiree Junior will perform live  on stage on March 22, and 23, at 8:00 p.m.  Students will receive a Soiree junior T-shirt to keep, two free tickets to the show, one free ticket to see Bedford Idol on March 18, a chance to win a pair of tickets to the upcoming shows at the Huntington Center, Fisher Theatre, etc., and have lots of fun with the members of the Soiree Singers and Mr. Smith.  More information and registration forms are available in the junior high office and on line www.bhstheatrearts.com/bhschoirs
