Trimester 1 ended today, November 30, 2012.  The exam schedule was as follows:
     Thursday, November 29, hours 4/5, 6, and 7
     Friday, November 30, hours 1, 2, and 3

Remember; dismissal today is at 10:25 a.m.

FOR ALL STUDENTS - DECEMBER 3, TRIMESTER 2 BEGINS
Next Monday, December 3, is the beginning of Trimester 2.  Please check your schedule for a change in your Computer/Health/Physical Education Class, Computer/Physical Education Class, and Elective Class.
Please check your schedule on HAC. If you need assistance, please stop in the office before Monday morning.

FOR ALL STUDENTS - MEDIA CENTER REMINDER
Today is November 30, so it is another due date for books from the Media Center.  Be sure to return or renew all books by the end of the day.  Stop down to the Media Center if you are not sure when you book is due.

FOR ALL STUDENTS - MORLEY MONEY DUE - NOVEMBER 14
There are still a few Morley orders that have not been paid.  Please bring your money in. 

7TH GRADE - STUDENTS INTERACT
Students Interact scheduled for the November 28, session has been moved to December 5.  Seventh grade students that were invited can turn in their permission slip by November 30, to Mrs.Connolly.  The slips that have already been turned in will be saved.  The session was moved so students can study and do their best on Trimester 1 exams.

Good luck to the Loose Screws and the Bionic Broncos Robotics Teams as they compete Saturday at the high school.  Stop by and cheer them on!

FOR ALL STUDENTS - REFLECTIONS CONTEST - DEADLINE EXTENDED TO DECEMBER 7th
The PTSA Reflections Arts \contest is now accepting entries in 6 categories: Visual Arts, Literature, Photography, Film/Video Production, Musical Composition, and Dance Choreography. A set of rules are posted in the Media Center windows and are also available in the office. You can also check online at http://bedfordptareflections.weebly.com/.

Entry forms are available in the Media Center and Office, plus online at the site listed above. Entries can be dropped off in the Media Center and the entry deadline has been extended to December 7th. There is no limit on the number of entries you can turn in or the number of categories you can enter.

Every entry will get a prize. There will also be a grand prize drawing for a $25 gift certificate. Would you like to increase your chance of winning? Refer-a-Friend! When you submit an entry, a card will be delivered to their homeroom. Give that card to a friend and if they turn in a qualified Reflections entry and that card, you both get an extra ticket in the grand prize drawing!

7 AND 8TH GRADE BOYS' BASKETBALL

The Bedford  7th grade red team finished the first half of the season 5-1 beating rival Monroe White 21-7 last night at home.  The defense led the way with Abba Risley, Luke Beadle and Bryce Krimmel each pulling down more than 6 rebounds.

The Bedford 8th grade red team defeated Monroe White 21-12.  Nick Welch, Joey Wiemer and Mitchel Gladieux all played well to even the teams record to 3-3.  

The boys 7th grade white team defeated Adrian 26-17 last night.  Michael Greeley led the scoring with 10 points and Nolan Ansara controlling the paint with 8 points. Bryan Kaczanowski scored 5 points.  Zach Lewandowski and Brock Andrews added 4 a piece. Robbie Keister also knocked  in 2 points to finish out the scoring. The white teams will travel to Monroe next Monday.

FOR 7 AND 8TH GRADE STUDENTS
Good luck to our competitive cheer team tomorrow.  They are competing in the Novi Invitational.  –GO BRONCOS!!!



FOR ALL STUDENTS - LEOS CLUB - YMCA
Would you like something fun and meaningful to do?  If so, you are invited to join the YMCA Leos Club. The Leos Club is a fun and energetic group that spends its time volunteering and learning leadership skills. They help out with YMCA sports and events, do community service, and go on trips and service weekends. They meet every Tuesday at 6:30 at the YMCA." The group is a big part of many Jr. High and High School lives. There are dues for Leos but they are really flexible on when they are to be paid. As of right now, they are due around the same time Christmas break is; and they are $25. There is no date of which students have to be registered by. Each month we run Teen Night on the third Saturday. Teens are invited to come and participate in activities that include swimming, dodge-ball, , etc. Entrance is $5 at the door.
