Are you a 7th or 8th grader interested in running cross country this fall?  Cross Country is a 2 mile running race over trails and through woods and fields.  If this sounds like something you want to try, you're in luck   Even though the season has already started, you can still come out and join the team. All you need is a physical.  Then, just meet out by the big oak tree behind the junior high with some running shoes on and you can join the team!

The boys cross country team competed against 44 other teams at the Tiffin Carnival Cross Country Invitational on Saturday.  Congratulations go out to Michael Greeley for taking 2nd overall in the race of over 300 runners with a time of 11:37.  Michael was also the fastest 7th grader by over 30 seconds.  John Kraine, 8th grade, took second fo Bedford with a personal best time, taking 25 seceonds off his previous best.  The guys will race at Tecumseh on Wednesday, September 12, and then Michigan State on Friday.  Good luck!
