VOLLEYBALL SUMMER CAMP
Volleyball summer camp flyers are in the office. Camp is Monday through Thursday, June 17-20th from 12-2:30 at the high school for incoming 7th, 8th, and 9th graders. Please register early so you are left out. 

CAREER DAY
8th graders - please fill out the "Career Day Sign Up Form" that Mr. Hurley emailed to you.  If you have any questions about Career Day, please see Ms. O'Neill.

COMMUNITY ED.
Time is running out for tickets for the annual Mother Daughter Boot Scootin Boogie Dance on May 10th. Tickets are on sale now through May 3rd in the Community Education Office


Glow Bowling - Boys get your moms and join us for a fun night of glow bowling and pizza at Forest View Lanes on June 7. Tickets are on sale in the Community Education Office

6TH GRADE CARD CLUB
We have a new one for 6th graders!  It is a card club!  We will play Uno, Skip Bo, and many other games.  Play with friends and have fun.  We will meet today, April 30, from 2:30 - 3:30 p.m. in room # 23.  

BEDFORD SIDELINE CHEER TRYOUTS
Junior High tryouts (6th/7th graders): May 20-22 from 3-5 pm, high school new gym

High School tryouts (8th graders): May 28-30 from 5-7 pm, high school new gym

For tryouts athletes must wear Bedford colors, cheer or tennis shoes, and no jewelry throughout all of tryouts! All participants must have a current physical on file. NO EXCEPTIONS. Go to the office for more details and paperwork.

BEDFORD HIGH SCHOOL MARCHING BAND
Want to join the marching band, but don't know how to play an instrument? Do you like to dance and learn choreography? Do you want to be part of a hard working team? Join us for the BHS Color Guard auditions! Come to the clinics/tryouts April 29th and May 1st from 3-5pm in the HS gym. Dress for physical activity and movement! YOUNG WRITERS
Attention all writers: Mrs. Matlow and Miss DePorre will be hosting Young Writers Day on May 30th. Please see Mrs. Matlow in room #35 to pick up a participation form. See you there!

NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER
Attention everyone!  Everyone is invited to join us for the National Day of Prayer. 

We will be praying for our country, as well as our school & community.  Se you at the flagpole, this Thursday, May 2nd, from 7:15-7:20AM.

NJHS OFFICER MEETING
There will be an NJHS officers meeting on Thursday, May 2nd during 5B to plan out the speaking parts of our ceremony next week.

AUTISM AWARENESS
April is Autism Awareness month! Please wear your Autism Awareness shirt every Friday during the month of April.

Anyone interested in an Autism Awareness shirt that did that already get one, please sign up in the media center room #56. There is a sign up sheet posted on the door.

EARLY DISMISSAL
There will be an early dismissal today for 8th grade softball @ 2:00PM.

CHROMEBOOKS
Parents and students, the Junior high has gone through all of it's loaners and it's supplemental 40 Chromebooks in the last month or so, with Mstep testing coming up, we can't keep up with the break rates. Please remind students to be careful with their Chromebooks, and keep a watchful eye out for kids abusing them.

REMINDER 
Just a reminder to students - cell phones are not to be used during the day to text or call their parent to come pick them up when they are not feeling well.  (Please do not email either). Students are to come to the health room.  You can use the student phone located in the office.  Too many parents are showing up for their sick student and the health room/office is not aware.  Please see your Student Handbook regarding use of Cell Phones.

DRESS CODE 
Just a reminder to parents and students about the school dress code. Jeans with rips or holes in them is not allowed. Also, hoods of any kind are not to be worn inside the building.

STUDENT DROP OFF
Parents, there is ABSOLUTELY no student drop off in the front of the building. Please drop off your student in the back of the building.
