SPORTS

Bedford 8th grade White opened their season last night at Saline. They won the match 25-11, 25-10 and 28-26. Hannah F. lead the team in serving with 14 aces. Abby D. also served well for the team, scoring 10 points. Taylor D. lead the team with hitting with 9 kills and Grace F. and Leah B. passed well. The white team is home on Wednesday against Chelsea.

The 7th grade red team started their season yesterday with a win over Ypsilanti with the scores of 25-20, 25-8 and 25-15. Kate W.  led the team with 12 service aces and Brianna G. had 11 service points. Allison S. did an excellent job on defense. Keep up the good work girls!

The Bedford 8th Grade RED volleyball team opened their season last night at home vs. Ypsi. They won 25-5, 25-7 and 25-16. Rylee H. led the team in serving with 15 points and Jaidan J. also served well with 14 points.  On the net, our middles, McKenna D. and Ella H. led the team in hitting with 3 kills each.  Payton S. passed and played defense well.  Their next game is Wednesday, September 19th at Monroe.  Go Broncos! 

Last night the 7th grade white volleyball team had their season opener away against Saline Middle School.The White team beat Saline in all 3 sets with scores of 25-7, 25-7 and 27-25. Lillian J. and Sophia G. led the team with their serves. They each had 8 aces. The girls will play at home on Wednesday, come on out and show your support!!

There will be a NJHS membership meeting today 9/18 during 5th hour in the media center.

CODING CLUB

8th grade Coding Club will begin on Friday, September from 2:30-3:30 in Ms. May's room. All 8th graders are welcome! Have a ride here at 3:30 to pick you up and make sure your chromebook is charged and with you. Come and have fun while expanding your coding skills.
