Girls Cross Country

A big congratulations to the girls cross country team for a 2nd place finish out of 12 teams this past Saturday at the Monroe Jefferson Invitational.  Stop by and see the trophy in the main office!  The girls ran great with highlights including a 2nd place finish for Alli Smith, a 10th place finish for Baylee Canning, and a 16th place finish for Brianna Pauli.  Makayla Orner, Jillian Falzone, Brooke Flowers, Elizabeth Chang, and Abby Anderson all placed in the top 50 out of 116 runners.  Great job lady broncos! The girls' next race will be this Wednesday at Hudson Mills park in Dexter.  Good luck!

Boys Cross Country

The boys cross country team crushed all 15 teams on Saturday to win the monroe jefferson invitational.  They were again led by sensational races from Noah Scheffer, Jacob Reaume, and Cade Sutterfield.  They were also helped out by great races from Nick Huss and 7th grader Noah Bock.  Nathan Kowalski and Michael Seisel also contributed to the win with personal best times.  If you walk by the office you can see their sweet trophy.

Chromebooks

6th and 7th grade students - 

We have received notice that Chromebooks have been seen unattended during after school sporting practices/events.  Please remember that you can return to your locker after practice to retrieve your Chromebook.  Chromebooks should never be left unattended, in the gymnasium, or under a tree. It is important to remember that each student with a Chromebook signed an agreement at the beginning of the school year that states...

• I will be responsible for my Chromebook at all times.
• My Chromebook will never be left unattended
• I will store my Chromebook in my secured locker at BJHS while at sports practices or after school activities.

White Out Shirts

White Out Shirts will be sold during lunch on September 25 and September 26 for $5.00

Please note, the Whiteout Varsity Game will be played on Thursday, October 2^nd   at 7:00pm

Welcome Back Dance

The Welcome Back Dance on Thursday will be here before you know it!!!  Tickets, for all grades, go on sale for $6.00 tomorrow during the lunch hours.  If you have a PTSA membership, you get in FREE!  Dodgeball and dancing and snacking - what a fun time!!!

Remember to bring extra cash for the pizza, popcorn and candy.  We will see you there!

Coding Club

Coding Club will be held on Tuesdays from 2:30 to 3:30 in lab #34 beginning this Tuesday, September 23, 2014. Learn to code. Code with other students using online tutorials.  If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Adkins in room #29.

Knitting & Crocheting Club

Knitting & Crocheting Club will be held on Thursdays from 2:30 to 3:30 in room #29 beginning September 25, 2014.  Learn to knit and crochet.  No need to bring anything to the first meeting, unless you have a project you are working on.  If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Adkins in room #29. 

Art Club

Art Club will be held on Thursdays from 2:30 - 3:30 in room #134 beginning October 2, 2014.

Fundraiser

Students, our Frankenmuth Fundraiser is going on through today. Be sure to be out selling or calling and offering our online sales option to friends and family. We are going to make our $36,000 goal with all your hard work. If you need extra order forms or packets, please come down to the office and then sell, sell, sell! ALL CHECKS FOR THE FUNDRAISER SHOULD BE MADE PAYABLE TO BEDFORD JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL.

Bus Notes

Reminder to all students - Bus notes to ride another bus home after school MUST be stamped in the office BEFORE the end of seventh hour.
