Girls Cross Crountry

The girls cross country team did a fantastic job at Friday's Michigan State University Spartan Invitational.  The lady broncos took 13th place out of 23 teams.  Several runners earned a personal best running time including Elizabeth Chang, Breanna Everden, Alli Smith, Brianna Pauli, Abby Anderson, Gracelyn Ansted, Dayna Dec, Jillian Falzone, Gillian Hertzsch, Makayla Orner, Miriam Shikwana, and Madison Zimmerman.  Congratulations to Alli Smith for finishing in 21st place out of 287 runners, and for Baylee Canning and Brianna Pauli for finishing in the top 100.  The girls' next race is this Wednesday at Indian Creek Park.  Come cheer on the lady broncos cross country team!

Boys Cross Crountry

On Friday, the boys cross country team took 4th place at Michigan State university in one of the most competitive meets in the state.  They were again led by the fastest people in the school, Noah Scheffer and Jacob Reaume, but this time Seth Murphy and Steven Kraine ran the races of their lives and also finshed near the top.  Three 7th graders, Austin Dupue, Noah Bock and Max Schroyer ran great races as the lead 7th graders.  Almost every guy on the team ran a career best!  Some other amazing times were turned in by 7th graders Patrick Dotson, Ryan Gore, Josh Hollinger, and Brian Sullivan who all ran almost a minute faster than their previous best time.  And 8th graders Tyler German and Anthony Tomlewski ran career best races as well!

The boys will be racing this Wednesday on our home course at Indian Creek park.  They will be taking on all the league teams for the SEC championship.
