QUARTER 1 ENDED LAST WEEK
Today is the first day of quarter 1.  Exploratory classes will start their new class today  Please check your HAC  if you do not remember your new class.

MORLEY FUNDRAISER PICK-UP - WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 6
Please mark your calendar!  Morley Fundraiser orders must be picked up on Wednesday, November 6, in the Bedford Junior High School Cafeteria after school from 2:30 to 7:30 p.m.  Don't forget!

GOOGLE APPS PERMISSION SLIPS
Google Apps permission slips were mailed home.  Please return your signed permission slip as soon as possible to the junior high office.

EMERGENCY MEDICAL FORMS
If you did not turn in your Emergency Medical Form, please turn it in.  (Forms are green, yellow, or salmon;.and they were mailed home in the summer mailing.)  Remember to update all contact numbers and sign the back.  To change a student's address, you must present a Michigan Driver's License with the current address, mortgage or lease paper, and a utility bill.

NATIONAL JUNIOR HONOR SOCIETY - OFFICERS ONLY
There will be an NJHS officer's meeting on Wednesday, November 6, during 4th hour.  Please bring your lunch.

STUDENTS INTERACT
Students who were invited to Students Interact should remember to turn in their permission slip by the end of the day today.

AFTER SCHOOL CODING-BUILD SOME AWESOME GAMES AND APPS GRADES 6, 7, 8
Do you want to have some fun after school?  On Tuesdays, attend the After School  Coding Club in lab 34 with Mrs. Adkins from 2:30-3:30 p.m..  Build some awesome apps and games with friends. Be sure to have a ride home.  

YEARBOOKS ON SALE TODAY
Yearbooks are on sale now; and it is the cheapest time to purchase one.  Make sure you order your yearbook early; the price increases soon.  The cost is only $43.   Yearbooks are sold during all lunch hours. Make checks payable to BJHS. Flyers were given to each student, and additional flyers are also available in the office   

SAVE YOUR POP TABS!
Here is your chance to take part in a community service project!  Bring in your pop tabs, and they will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House. They will be recycled for cash to help the children in the hospital. The Ronald McDonald House is a Children's Hospital that helps children in need of medical care and allows the family to stay close to the hospital.  Bring in your pop tabs now to the office or to Mrs. Currie's room 
# 203.   


BE CAREFUL WHERE YOU WALK!!!
When students walk to school, they should please use the sidewalk next to the high school by the grass and not the sidewalk island next to the bus depot.  We want to make sure everyone is safe.  With the dark mornings now, it is unsafe to walk on the through the depot.

8TH HOUR
Eighth hour is open to all students at BJHS. Eighth hour is held every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 2:35-3:25 p.m.  Mrs. Benisatto will meet students at the double doors in the front lobby. Attention Girls Cross Country team:  Practice will end early today at 3:30 p.m.  Make sure you have a ride home.

BASKETBALL SIDELINE CHEER TRYOUTS
Hey 7th and 8th grade ladies!  Don't forget basketball sideline cheer Tryouts are tomorrow from 4:30 to 6:30 in the high school gym.  Don't forget to get your packet today from the main office!  Questions, please contact us at bedfordcheer@gmail.com

VARSITY FOOTBALL PLAY OFF SPIRIT WEAR - ON SALE AGAIN
Varsity football playoff spirit wear was on sale again before school and during lunches outside of the cafeteria.  Hoodies are $20 and the proceeds go to Football mom's.  The Sign Lady, located on Telegraph near Alexis, will put CD3 on the sleeve for free! 

GIRLS' BASKETBALL - GRADES 6, 7, and 8 
Any 6th, 7th, or 8th grade girl interested in participating in the high school girl's; basketball conditioning are welcome to attend today from 3:00 - 4:15 p.m. at the high school. This is optional for all junior high girls as their season doesn't start until after Christmas break. If you have any questions, see Mr. Burgermeister in room # 27.
