Come be a part of something that will truly make a difference.

WASHINGTON D.C. TRIP FUNDRAISER
Our next fundraiser is scheduled from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, January 9th at Chipotle at 4109 Talmadge Road in Toledo. You can bring in the attached flyer, show it on your smartphone or tell the cashier you are supporting Bedford Junior High School. Chipotle will donate 50% of the proceeds to our trip. Feel free to share the flyer with family and friends and through social media. The flyer can be found on the Bedford Junior High Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/BJHSBroncos/.

STUDENTS INTERACT
All 7th grade students should check their email for a Students Interact invitation for next week Wednesday, January 11th, session.  If you were invited, permission slips should be turned in to Mrs. Connolly in the office.   Please see your teachers for assignments for the day of Students Interact.  If you are attending Students Interact, please meet in the cafeteria on Wednesday, January 11, at the beginning of the day with your coat.  Do not go to first hour.  Attendance will be taken in the cafeteria before you leave for the YMCA.

CHROMEBOOKS   IN THE LAST 3 DAYS 13 CHROMEBOOKS WERE TURNED IN WITH DAMAGED SCREENS
CHROMEBOOKS ARE BEING BROKE AT AN AVERAGE 10 PER DAY AND THE EXCUSES THAT ARE BEING GIVEN ARE MOSTLY DUE TO IRRESPONSIBILITY. WE ARE RUNNING VERY LOW ON LOANERS AND IT IS TAKING 4 WEEKS FOR A REPLACEMENT. SOON THERE WILL NOT BE ANY LOANERS TO GIVE OUT, WHICH MEANS THEY WILL NOT HAVE A CHROMEBOOK TO DO THEIR HOMEWORK WITH. PLEASE HELP US KEEP AN EYE ON HOW YOUR CHILD IS TAKING CARE OF THEIR CHROME BOOK.

MICROWAVES IN LUNCHROOM
Due to the misuse of the microwaves in the lunchroom both are inoperable.
We will no longer have microwaves for students to use.

YEARBOOKS
Yearbooks are on sale for $40 until February 1 after that they will be $45. You can purchase them on line at yearbookforever.com or by sending a cash, check or money order to Bedford Junior High School (memo Yearbook) to Mr. Masters room 130

BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION
Box Top collections !! This year we will be collecting box tops and having a friendly competition between home rooms. This is an easy way to fund raise for the extra things our classrooms my need throughout the year. Just ask your students and parents to clip and save. Deposit them in the collection boxes with your homeroom name on them (or place in Mrs. Nimigean's mailbox in the high school or Mr. Muck's mailbox in the junior high).
We will collect for 3 months for each giveaway.

Winners will be awarded the first of December, March and June (top collector in each building). Make sure you get them turned in for a homeroom treat!

HANDBOOK REMINDER
Students who are leaving school early for an appointment should remember to come to the office first thing in the morning before school starts to receive an exit pass. They should not give their notes to their teachers. Do not wait until lunch to receive your exit pass.

DROP OFF ITEMS
Students, if your parents drop off items for you during the day, they will be held at the front door with our door monitor. Please listen to announcements during the class changes for your name.  At that time, you may pick up your items from the door monitor.

SAFETY REMINDER
When getting off of the bus in the morning, be sure to stay on the sidewalk to get to the junior high. Do not walk on the cement island.

CHROMEBOOKS
Students please remember to limit what you take to each class. Chromebooks can not be stacked on several books. Carrying several books increases the chance for your chromebook to slip and break.

HEALTH ROOM VISITS
You must report to your next hour teacher before coming to the health room unless it is an emergency. That way your teacher knows where you are.
