TALENT SHOW
   The STARS really came out last night and perfectly performed in the Cafe’ O’lay, to an enthusiastic audience of over 150 people.  Mr. Lopinski and Dr. Robinson (who worked the Annual BJHS Talent Show these past 16 years), would like to thank the following participants:

Congratulations to all of those students who participated in this year's test!

WRESTLING
The wrestlers exploded to a 49-0 lead before Chelsea scored their first points.  The Broncos rolled on to a 85-21 win, extending their season record to 10-0.  Mason Rimmer held on to an exciting 4-3 victory and Zane Gerber also had an exciting 3-0 victory.  Armen Melkonian fell behind early but rallied back to a 7-2 win.  Zack Warnke once again provided a suspenseful win trailing 4-1 with :23 seconds remaining in the match.  He then took  his opponent down, turned him to his back and pinned him with :05 seconds left on the clock. Great job!

8TH GRADERS
Honors 9 applications can be picked up out side Mrs Connolly's office. They are due along with your Course Plan to your English teacher Friday February 19, 2016.

Forms for 8th grade panoramic pictures are due today.

FLOWERS ON SALE THIS WEEK
You have only this week to buy a flower for your best friend, favorite teacher, secret admirer, Mrs. Green, Mrs. Johnson, Mr. Hurley or Dr. Robinson.

The flowers will go on sale tomorrow for only one dollar.  You will have the option of attaching a "to and from card" on the flowers.  Then student council will make the delivery during lunch.

7TH & 8TH GRADE BOYS LACROSSE
There will be an informative meeting for anyone interested in Lacrosse Tuesday, February 16, 2016 in the High School cafeteria from 6:30-8:30.


BUS ROUTES THAT CAN NOT HAVE EXTRA RIDERS
At this time we are experiencing a number of overcrowded buses with 3 to a seat and we are unable to accommodate extra riders. The following bus routes are not excepting bus passes until further notice. We are taking student counts on all runs and will be adjusting routes over the next couple weeks.

*MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE BUS ROUTE # THAT YOU WILL BE RIDING ON YOUR NOTE BEFORE YOU BRING IT TO THE OFFICE.

* YOUR NOTE MUST BE STAMPED BEFORE THE 2:25 BELL

BOX TOPS
Please turn in box tops as we go so there are not so many to count and prepare for redemption.
Place box tops in collection box or deliver to Mr. Muck in room #201.
Please, Make sure 4th hour teacher's name is clearly marked on the bag with the number of box tops in each bag.

Keep clipping!! January and February will start a new contest.

PHONE USE DURING SCHOOL
Under no circumstances are you allowed to text your parents or anyone else during the school day. If you are feeling ill, come down to the health room. If you forgot something or need something, please ask your teacher for permission to call home. After this week, if a student is found to be texting for these reasons, you will receive the 2 penalty halls for cell phone violations.

WINTER IS HERE
Students please remember it is cold outside! You should be wearing long pants, not shorts.

STUDENTS INTERACT - 7TH GRADE
Keep checking your e-mail for an invitation to future Students Interact. When you get an invitation, the permission slip should be turned into Mrs Connolly. Also make sure you are checking with your teachers about any assignments.

YEARBOOKS
Attention all students and staff, yearbooks are being sold until Friday February 12, 2016 for $45 in the cafeteria. No extras will be ordered so be sure to get yours before Friday.

CHROMEBOOK REMINDER
Students please remember to limit what you take to each class. Chromebooks can not be stacked on several books. The bottom of the blue case has support to one book only. Carrying several books increases the chance for your chromebook to slip and break. Broken chromebooks will have to pay a $25 deductible to get it fixed.

Students should always carry chromebook cases by the handle.

HEALTH ROOM PASS REMINDER
Students, please remember you need to report to your next class before coming to the Health Room. Do not stop in between classes unless it is an emergency.

DRESS CODE REMINDER
No leggings, yoga pants or joggers unless the top is fingertip length or longer. Also, shorts and skirts are to be fingertip length or longer.

BUS NOTE REMINDER
Bus notes MUST be stamped before the 2:25 pm bell.
