WINTER CONCERT
Our junior high orchestras will be presenting a winter concert this evening in the high school auditorium. Come and get in the spirit of the holidays and join us for some great music!     

STUDENTS INTERACT
Students who were invited to tomorrow's session of Students Interact should have already turned in their permission slip to Mrs. Connolly.  They should collect assignments for tomorrow so they will not be behind in class on Thursday.

BOYS' BASKETBALL
The boys 7th grade white team defeated Dexter last night 15-14 as a last second desperation shot rimmed out to secure the win for the Broncos.  Jackie Harris led all scorers with 12 points, followed by Bradley South with 9, Garrett Sexton with 4 and Austin Hammer with 2.  Noah Scheffer hit a 3 pointer at the buzzer to win the first quarter.

Bedford's 8th Grade White basketball team lost to an undefeated Dexter team last night 21 - 16.  Brady Long and T.J. Linderman led a dominating first half by the Broncos; each tallying 8 points.  In the 2nd half, Dexter was just too tough, as the Broncos drop to 3 and 6 on the year.  

The white team will travel to Chelsea on Wednesday.

The Bedford 7th grade red team fell to Chelsea Gold 23-17.

Bedford red 8th grade red team had all 12 players score in defeating Chelsea Gold 36-16. Jared Fink and Jared Bronikowski led the balanced scoring attack.  Jake Day, Collin Woolford and Maison Hullibarger also played well.  Thank you to assistant coach Jim Vergiels for helping out this week in practice. 

AFTER SCHOOL EVENTS
Students should ride the bus home after school.  If they wish to attend or watch an after school event, parents should bring them back to school.  Students are NOT allowed to wander the hallways during events.  

GIRLS' BASKETBALL
Attention ALL girls interested in girls basketball.  There will be an open gyms to practice basketball next Sunday, December 15th.  Meet in the BJHS gym and practice from 4:30PM - 6:00PM.  This is for any girl in 7th or 8th grades.  Tryouts are less than a month away.  Don't wait to work on your game!

BOYS' COMMUNITY ED BASKETBALL
Now is the time to register for Boys Basketball!  Forms are available in the office, or at the Community Ed Office.  Deadline to register is December 13th.

PENNY HOCKEY BOARDS ON SALE
Penny hockey boards are now on sale during all lunch hours at the concession stand.  They are only $2.00 and were made by the 8th grade technology education students.  They make an inexpensive Christmas gift. A limited number are available; so, buy  your penny hockey board soon! 

SANTA'S WORKSHOP
Come one and all to Room #5 for a wonderful shopping experience.  Come before school starts, during your homeroom, or after school.  Special shopping hours are available by appointment!  help Mrs. Tilley's class raise money for a worthy cause!  All items are priced very reasonably. 

CHARITY CLUB AND BIBLE STUDY CLUB COLLECTION
The Charity Club and Bible Study Club are teaming up to collect socks, gloves, and mittens.  Let's all work together and bring in some socks, gloves, or mittens and hang them on the tree in the cafeteria.  What a great idea!

MEETS TODAY! -- AFTER SCHOOL CODING --  GRADES 6, 7, 8
Do you want to have some fun after school?  On Tuesdays, attend the After School  Coding Club in lab 34 with Mrs. Adkins from 2:30-3:30 p.m..  Build some awesome apps and games with friends. Be sure to have a ride home.  

YEARBOOKS ON SALE TODAY
Yearbooks are on sale now; and it is the cheapest time to purchase one.  Make sure you order your yearbook early; the price increases soon.  The cost is only $43.   Yearbooks are sold during all lunch hours. Make checks payable to BJHS. Flyers were given to each student, and additional flyers are also available in the office.

EMERGENCY MEDICAL FORMS
If you did not turn in your Emergency Medical Form, please turn it in.  (Forms are green, yellow, or salmon;.and they were mailed home in the summer mailing.)  Remember to update all contact numbers and sign the back.  To change a student's address, you must present a Michigan Driver's License with the current address, mortgage or lease paper, and a utility bill.

BE PROMPT!  DON'T MISS YOUR BUS
After school, when going out to your bus, be prompt!  The bus drivers will not allow students on the bus after 2:33 p.m.  

SAVE YOUR POP TABS!
Here is your chance to take part in a community service project!  Bring in your pop tabs, and they will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House. They will be recycled for cash to help the children in the hospital. The Ronald McDonald House is a Children's Hospital that helps children in need of medical care and allows the family to stay close to the hospital.  Bring in your pop tabs now to the office or to Mrs. Currie's room

NATIONAL JUNIOR HONOR SOCIETY
NJHS students should remember to check their email for upcoming events.

BE CAREFUL WHERE YOU WALK!!!
When students walk to school, they should please use the sidewalk next to the high school by the grass and not the sidewalk island next to the bus depot.  We want to make sure everyone is safe.  With the dark mornings now, it is unsafe to walk on the through the depot.

8TH HOUR
Eighth hour is open to all students at BJHS.
