AFTER SCHOOL EVENTS
If students are attending after school events that do not start immediately after classes, they must go home and return to school when the activity begins.  Please, do not leave unsupervised students at school.

CELL PHONES
Cell phones should be turned off once a student enters the building in the morning.  

STUDENTS INTERACT
If you were invited to this week's session of Students interact, please remember to turn in your signed permission slip to Mrs. Connolly before you leave today. Don't forget to ask your teachers for assignments for Wednesday when you are at Students Interact.

HIGH SCHOOL - TESTING OUT
This is a reminder to 8th graders who would like to test out of a Freshman class next year.  Applications are online and at the high school in the counseling office.  Applications are due May 1.

THE GREEN TEAM
The Green Team will meet on Thursday and Friday from 2:35 to 3:25 p.m.  Gloves will come in handy if  you plan on joining the club. So be prepared and dressed to WORK outside!

RELAY FOR LIFE
The National Junior Honor Society will be selling feet for the Bedford Junior High Relay for Life Team during lunches for $1 all week.  Also, there will be a bake sale on Thursday during all lunches.

10TH ANNUAL DAY FOR STRINGS - TOMORROW
The 10th Annual Day for Strings will take place tomorrow, April 16.  Orchestra students will leave the building after sixth hour (missing 7th hour) to attend sessions with professional musicians at the high school.  the day will conclude with a concert at 7:00 p.m. in the senior high school gym featuring all of our district orchestras.  The concert is free and open to the public.

BOOK OF THE MONTH CLUB - MEETS TOMORROW
The Book of the Month Club meeting was rescheduled to tomorrow, Tuesday, April 16, at 2:30 p.m.
They will be discussing the book Uprising.  If you are interested in reading this book, copies are still available from Mrs. Lauer in room # 50.  Please remember that books read for book club can be used to fill outside reading requirements for other classes.

FLAG AND TWIRLER TRYOUTS FOR MARCHING BAND 2013
Flag and twirler clinics and tryouts for Marching Band 2013 will begin next week.  Tryouts will begin promptly at 3:30 p.m. and will end when everyone has had a chance to audition .   Arrive early to get warmed-up and number assigned. Bring your signed tryout permission slip!

Clinics:
Monday, April 22     3:30 - 5:00 p.m.
Thursday, April 25    3:30 - 5:00 p.m.

Tryouts:
Monday, April 29      3:30 - 5:00 p.m.

Meet in the Bedford High School Gym (East Shelf)

3 ON 3 BASKETBALL
Is anyone interested in playing basketball in a 3 on 3 tournament?  This opportunity is for all students!  Just put a team together and have some fun with your friends.  Registration forms can be picked up in the office.  The cost is $11.25 per student or $45 per team.  Hope to see  you on the court April 20, at Bedford High School.
