AUTISM AWARENESS MONTH
34% of children with autism say "the worst thing about school, is being picked on by peers". Be kind, be a friend. A smile can make someone's day go from bad to awesome. That applies to everyone, not just people with ASD.

8TH TOUR OF MONROE COMMUNITY COLLEGE
On Wednesday, May 4th, our 8th grade students will be attending a tour of Monroe County Community College. We will leave the building after 1st hour and will be returning before lunch. This tour is provided by grant money from the community college to promote interest in post-secondary college options as well as giving students insight into innovative career fields.
We had a very successful tour last year and are looking forward to attending next week. On the verification forms signed at the start of the school year, parents signed permission for us to transport students on field trips, so a signed slip is not necessary.
