FALL CHOIR CONCERT - TONIGHT
The first choral concert of the year is this evening, October 30, at 7:00 p.m. in the SHS Auditorium. Our 7th & 8th grade choir students have worked very hard and will be ready to present an awesome concert with the freshman choir, concert choir, soiree singers and varsity choir. Our concert is entitled "SING!" which will feature a combined choirs song called "Sing!" written by Andrew Lloyd Webber featuring 130 of our vocal students accompanied by our best instrumentalists.
PUMPKIN DECORATING CONTEST
It is that time of year again! It is the Second Annual Pumpkin Decorating Contest. It will continue on October 29th, 30th, and 31st. Teachers brought their decorated pumpkins to the cafeteria. Students and staff will be voting for their favorite jack-o-lantern using cash during all lunches. The pumpkins with the most donations will be the Grand Champion. All money donated will benefit Monroe Humane Society and the World Wildlife Federation.
AFTER SCHOOL CODING-BUILD SOME AWESOME GAMES AND APPS GRADES 6, 7, 8
Do you want to have some fun after school? On Tuesdays, attend the After School Coding Club in lab 34 with Mrs. Adkins from 2:30-3:30 p.m.. Build some awesome apps and games with friends. Be sure to have a ride home.

Tomorrow is October 31. It is the very first due date of the school year for books from the Media Center. Everyone look inside your books for this date. Be sure to return or renew all books dated by the end of the day tomorrow. Stop down to the Media Center if you are not sure when your book is due.

Yearbooks are on sale now; and it is the cheapest time to purchase one. Make sure you order your yearbook early; the price increases soon. The cost is only $43. Yearbooks are sold during all lunch hours. Make checks payable to BJHS. Flyers were given to each student, and additional flyers are also available in the office

When students walk to school, they should please use the sidewalk next to the high school by the grass and not the sidewalk island next to the bus depot. We want to make sure everyone is safe. If you did not turn in your Emergency Medical Form, please turn it in. (Forms are green, yellow, or salmon;.and they were mailed home in the summer mailing.) Remember to update all contact numbers and sign the back. To change a student's address, you must present a Michigan Driver's License with the current address, mortgage or lease paper, and a utility bill.
8TH HOUR
Eighth hour is open to all students at BJHS. Eighth hour is held every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 2:35-3:25 p.m. Mrs. Benisatto will meet students at the double doors in the front lobby. VARSITY FOOTBALL PLAY OFF SPIRIT WEAR - ON SALE
Varsity football playoff spirit wear will be on sale tomorrow morning before school starts in the concession stand and also during all lunches in the cafeteria. Hoodies are $20 and t-shirts are $10. The Sign Lady will put CD3 on the sleeve for free!

Friday's time is yet to be determined. This is optional for junior high girls as their season doesn't start until after Christmas break. Next week's times will be announced as they are determined.
