PICTURE RETAKE DAY – FRIDAY, OCTOBER 25
Friday,
October 25, 2013, is Picture Retake Day.
If you were unhappy with your school pictures and need them to be
retaken, please bring your entire packet to school on Friday, October 25. Picture packets must be turned in to the photographer when you get your new picture taken. The same packet will be given to you with your new picture. ALSO, if you were absent on picture day, be
sure to have your picture taken so you can receive and ID card and have your
picture in the BJHS Yearbook. OR, if you
would like an additional picture package, you may pick up an order form in the
office. Pictures must be paid for when you get your picture taken. Pictures will be taken during
all lunch hours on FRIDAY, OCTOBER 25.

If you did not turn in your Emergency Medical Form, please turn it in. (Forms are green, yellow, or salmon;.and they were mailed home in the summer mailing.) Remember to update all contact numbers and sign the back. To change a student's address, you must present a Michigan Driver's License with the current address, mortgage or lease paper, and a utility bill.
8TH HOUR
Eighth hour is open to all students at BJHS. Eighth hour is held every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 2:35-3:25 p.m. Mrs. Benisatto will meet students at the double doors in the front lobby. 7th Grade “Pink” Team - Home vs Tecumseh Indians
The 7th grade “Pink” Team won it’s second game in a row last night at Bedford Community Stadium. The Pink team shut out the Indians of Tecumseh by a score of 22-0. This was also their second straight shutout.
A Fantastic Defensive effort was given by the entire team. Reckless running by: Anthony Pissanti, Alex Jones, Wade Johnson, Cade Carnicom. Herculean Hits by: Bobby Slusher, David Waxler, Donivan Baker, Connor Frantz, Dylan Price, Jackson Harris. Great Blocking by: Griffin Geiger, Ricky Mitchell, Cade Nelson, Bo Kaminski, Camron Merkel, Drew Burton.
8th Grade Red Team - Home vs Tecumseh Indians
The 8th grade Red Team won its 4th straight game last night at Bedford Community Stadium, beating the Indians by a score of 23 - 12. The Broncos, gave up the opening kick for a touchdown, but then settled in to out score the Indians 23-6 the rest of the game. The Red team show lots of heart and toughness grinding out this win over the Indians.
Outstanding performances from: Kyle Hudgin, Zach Vogel, Justin Woodruff, Tyler lanz, Bryce Mugler, Jeff Brushaber, Cody Broman, Blake Grzegorczyk, Evan Roach, Josh Vislay, Hunter Duran, Luke Beadle and Aba Risley.
8th Grade White Team - @ Adrian Maples
The White 8th grade Team lost last night to the Adrian Maples, by a score of 34-20, mostly due to three turnovers. The White team did hang even with the Maple’s in the second half, each team scoring twice.
Spotlight performances by: Jacob Garner, Austin Emerson, Caleb Gill, Jordan Cooker, Collin Woolford, Bryce Krimmel, Jared Bushroe, Jarod Bronikowski and Drake Smith.

The 8th grade red volleyball team kept on rolling with a victory over Dexter last night 25-5, 25-16, 25-8. Mackenzie Fuleky, Morgan Gladieux, Katie Scurlock, Belle Winters, and Joelle Griner all had good serving days. Mackenzie Fuleky, Angel Simon, and Megan Tillman had several scrappy plays in the front row. Their record is now 11-2.
The Bedford girls' 7th grade red volleyball team won another game last night vs. Dexter with scores of 25-6, 25-16, and 25-8. Levi Lennard and Bree Long led the team with 7 aces each! Lizzie Orwig and Selena Sandova led the team with their outstanding passes! Abby Armstrong led the team with her setting and Kerrigan Gandee did an awesome job on the net with her hits and blocks! The girls have their last game on Monday the 21st at Monroe.

a pickup” night for two Bedford Pantries; Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church and
St. Pauls’ Lutheran Church. If you are
planning on attending the game, bring non-perishable food items and drop them
off in the truck at the gate.

Holiday Camp provides summer programming for Monroe County youths and adults with disabilities. Each summer campers come together to experience unique enrichment activities including; swimming, sports, arts and crafts, music, and outdoor recreation.
