MORLEY FUNDRAISING
Students, our Morley Fundraising is happening right now! Please be out and selling those items in support of student programs here at BJHS. Orders are due October 4, 2013.
BE CAREFUL WHERE YOU WALK!!!!
When students walk to school, they should please use the sidewalk next to the high school by the grass and not the sidewalk island next to the bus depot. We want to make sure everyone is safe. With the dark mornings now, it is unsafe to walk on the through the depot.
EMERGENCY MEDICAL FORMS
If you did not turn in your Emergency Medical Form, please turn it in. (Forms are green, yellow, or salmon;.and they were mailed home in the summer mailing.) Remember to update all contact numbers and sign the back. To change a student's address, you must present a Michigan Driver's License with the current address, mortgage or lease paper, and a utility bill.
8TH HOUR
Eighth hour is open to all students at BJHS. Eighth hour is held every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 2:35-3:25 p.m. Mrs. Benisatto will meet students at the double doors in the front lobby. 7th GRADE - STUDENT COUNCIL MEETING - THURSDAY
All 7th grade student council members please meet Mr. Lopinski in the media center with your lunch on Thursday, October 3, during 4th hour.
NJHS Executive Cabinet Meeting
There will be a NJHS Executive Cabinet meeting for NJHS officers on Tuesday, October 8. We will be meeting in portable 5 during 4th hour. Please bring your lunch.
FOOTBALL
The 7th grade white football team lost to Saline Blue by a score of 26-0. Supportive efforts by:
Anthony Pisanti, Cade Carnicom, Cade Nelson, Alex Jones, Connor Frantz, Jackson Harris, and Ricky Mitchell.
The 8th grade white football team also lost to Saline Blue last evening by a score of 30-22.
The white team was down at the half 22-0, but outplayed the Hornets in the second half by outscoring the Saline Hornets 22-8. Fantastic efforts given by Jacob Garner, Drake Smith, Derrick Garcia, TJ Werner, Jared Bronikowski and the rest of the White Broncos.
The 7th grade red team played in the Bedford Community Stadium and lost to Saline Gold by a score of 20-0. Super efforts made by the entire defensive unit. Strong play of Wade Johnson, Austin Hammer, Nathan Sailer, Alex Salzmann, Bradley South, and Cameron Merkel; and Chad Ohneck led the defense.
The 8th grade red team played at the Bedford Community Stadium and beat the Saline Hornet Gold Team. Your Red Broncos shout out the Hornets last night by a score of 28-0. The red team, over the last two games, has outscored their opponents by a score of 77-zero. Fantastic plays to SWAT the Hornets by Blake Grzegorczyk, Evan Roach, Hunter Duran, Kyle Hudgin, Zach Vogel, Cole Fornwald, Brady Long, James McCaig, Bryce Mugler, Aba Risley, and Luke Beadle, and the rest of the Red Broncos.
