PICTURE RETAKE DAY – FRIDAY, OCTOBER 25
Friday, October 25, 2013, is Picture Retake Day. If you were unhappy with your school pictures and need them to be retaken, please bring your entire packet to school on Friday, October 25. Picture packets must be turned in to the photographer when you get your new picture taken. The same packet will be given to you with your new picture. ALSO, if you were absent on picture day, be sure to have your picture taken so you can receive and ID card and have your picture in the BJHS Yearbook. OR, if you would like an additional picture package, you may pick up an order form in the office. Pictures must be paid for when you get your picture taken. Pictures will be taken during all lunch hours on FRIDAY, OCTOBER 25. Don’t forget!

They will be recycled for cash to help the children in the hospital. The Ronald McDonald House is a Children's Hospital that helps children in need of medical care and allows the family to stay close to the hospital. When students walk to school, they should please use the sidewalk next to the high school by the grass and not the sidewalk island next to the bus depot. We want to make sure everyone is safe. FALL CHOIR CONCERT
Our first choral concert of the year is next week!!! Our 7th & 8th grade choir students have worked very hard and will be ready
to present an awesome concert with the freshman choir, concert choir, soiree singers and varsity choir.
The concert is THURSDAY, OCTOBER 24 beginning at 7PM in the High School Auditorium.
Our concert is entitled "SING!" which will feature a combined choirs song called "Sing!" written by Andrew Lloyd Webber
featuring 130 of our vocal students accompanied by our best instrumentalists.

EMERGENCY MEDICAL FORMS
If you did not turn in your Emergency Medical Form, please turn it in. (Forms are green, yellow, or salmon;.and they were mailed home in the summer mailing.) Remember to update all contact numbers and sign the back. To change a student's address, you must present a Michigan Driver's License with the current address, mortgage or lease paper, and a utility bill.
8TH HOUR
Eighth hour is open to all students at BJHS. Eighth hour is held every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 2:35-3:25 p.m. Mrs. Benisatto will meet students at the double doors in the front lobby. PACK A PICKUP
Tomorrow night the Varsity Football Team will host Monroe. It is “Pack a pickup” night for two Bedford Pantries; Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church and St. Pauls’ Lutheran Church. If you are planning on attending the game, bring non-perishable food items and drop them off in the truck at the gate.

Plan to attend the Holiday Camp Fundraiser at Indian Creek Camel Farm located at 2740 Consear Road, Lambertville, Michigan (between Secor and Douglas, off US 23, Take Exit 3) ) on Saturday, October 19, 2013, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The cost is only $5. Holiday Camp provides summer programming for Monroe County youths and adults with disabilities. Each summer campers come together to experience unique enrichment activities including; swimming, sports, arts and crafts, music, and outdoor recreation.
