VOLLEYBALL
7TH GRADE RED
The 7th grade Red volleyball team continued their winning streak by defeating Dexter with the scores of 25-9, 25-22 and 25-9. Grace Fulop led the team with her near perfect passing while Ella Hafner and Leah Babkiewicz were super servers Faith Ueberroth led the team with hits. Way to go girls!
The 7th Grade White Volleyball Team won a very close game last night against Adrian with scores of 25-23, 23-25, 25-21. The girls all played well together and worked hard to keep their undefeated streak. They are now 11-0 and will travel to Ypsilanti Lincoln on Wednesday.
8TH GRADE WHITE
8th grade White volleyball team defeated Adrain last night 25-21,25-17 and 15-4. The Adain maples had trouble retiring Krista Schroder serves who had 12 aces. Annabelle Walters and Veda Legeza lead the team in passing and Jalynn Zink rounded out the defense with 8 digs. The lady broncos travel to Lincoln on Wednesday.
8TH GRADE RED
The 8th grade red volleyball team defeated Dexter 25-22, 18-25, 25-15. Leaders for the team were Grace Ryan and Mollie Kruszka in serving, Katelyn Armstrong in setting, Julia Martin and Sophia Gray in passing and Grace Ryan in hitting.
LACROSSE
Due to unforseen circumstances, the lacrosse informational meeting Thursday October 5th has been postponed. It will be rescheduled at a later date. Announcements will be made to the new date and time.
NJHS
There will be an NJHS membership meeting on Thursday October 5, 2017 during 4th hour in the media center. Please bring your lunches with you if your lunch is either 4A or 4B. You will also need your Chromebooks.
KNIT AND CROCHET CLUB
Learn to knit and crochet after school on Tuesdays with Mrs Adkins. The club will begin meeting today in Room 29 from 2:30-3:30. Make sure you have a ride home.
PICTURE RETAKES
Picture retakes are scheduled for October 26, 2017 during homeroom. Forms can be picked up at the door monitors desk.
BULLETIN BOARD CLUB
Do you think you have a creative side? Do you like to create things? Join Mrs. Carnicom Oct 5th for the Bulletin board club. We will be creating beautiful masterpieces throughout the school year to keep our halls looking fresh. We will meet in room 230 and getting started right away. The club will go until 3:30 so make sure you have a ride home. There will be a sign up sheet in her room so please make sure to sign up.
DRESS CODE
Students, while the temps stay warm, be sure to dress for the weather and for our dress code here at the school. While we certainly need to stay cool, we also need to keep our shorts and shirts within the ranges set forth in the dress code.
VOLLEY FOR THE CURE
Bedford Varsity Volleyball is sponsoring a VOLLEY FOR THE CURE night on Thursday, October 12th in the Bedford High School gym to benefit cancer research and help those living with cancer.
"Volley for the Cure" T-shirts will be sold next week during lunches. T-shirts will cost $10. Then wear your T-shirt to the games on October 12, 2017 and you will get in FREE.
Cardiovascular Testing Offered
This will be held at the High School on Monday, October 9, 2017 from 9:00 AM until 4:00 PM. Any student from 12 - 25 years old are eligible for the test. EARLY DROP OFFS
If you are dropped off at school before 7 a.m, you need to stay in the cafeteria with Mrs. Gibson. She will release you to your lockers at 7. 8th HOUR
8th Hour is held in the media center. It runs from 2:35 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Meet in the front lobby by the door monitor and you will be walked to the media center Forms can be picked up in the office.
NO CELL PHONES DURING SCHOOL HOURS
Students: Cell phones are not allowed during school hours. Your phone should be in your locker and turned off at 7:25 a.m. They cannot be used until 2:30 p.m. Cell phones are NOT permitted during lunches.
HEALTH ROOM RULES
Students who need to go to the health room must get a pass from the teacher they are coming from AND they should also check in with their next hour teacher to let them know where they are.
