The 8th grade red volleyball team took second this weekend in the SEC red tournament being defeated in the finals by the 8th grade white team. Congratulations to the 8th grade white team for winning the tournament and the 8th grade red for taking second.
CROSS COUNTRY
The junior high boys cross country team won their 7th meet in a row on Saturday, at the Monroe Milers Invitational. Lightning fast Colin B continued to dominate, by winning his 3rd meet in a row. Ethan L, Daniel S and Alex B all ran great times to help the team win as well. The boys race in the 3rd and final SEC league meet on Wednesday at Pinckney.

BEDFORD LIBRARY
The Bedford Library will be closed today due to Columbus Day. If your student normally goes there after school please make other arrangements.

On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday Superhero themed T-Shirts for our Homecoming Game on Friday will be on sale for $5.

BJHS PRIDE CLUB
Are you looking for a fun and accepting new group to be a part of? Are you looking for a safe place where you can be yourself? Then join us in Mr. Zill's Room 25 on Thursday, October 12, 2017 after school till 3:30 for the first-ever meeting of the BJHS Pride Club. This week we'll be hanging out, getting to know each other and playing board games. All are welcome, and we hope to see you there! Be sure to have a ride home.
JUGGLING CLUB
Juggling club will beginning meeting this Friday, October 13, 2017 from 2:30-3:30 in the cafeteria. Beginners to advanced jugglers are welcome. If interested, see Mr. Allison in room 124 or check out his website for details. Or, just show up this Friday. Be sure to have a ride home.

"Volley for the Cure" T-shirts will be sold this week during lunches. T-shirts will cost $10. Then wear your T-shirt to the games on October 12, 2017 and you will get in FREE.
Cardiovascular Testing Offered
This will be held at the High School on Monday, October 9, 2017 from 9:00 AM until 4:00 PM. Any student from 12 - 25 years old are eligible for the test. DRESS CODE
Students, while the temps stay warm, be sure to dress for the weather and for our dress code here at the school. While we certainly need to stay cool, we also need to keep our shorts and shirts within the ranges set forth in the dress code.
BACKPACKS
Just another reminder. . . Don't carry your backpacks to class. You must keep your backpacks in your locker.
EARLY DROP OFFS
If you are dropped off at school before 7 a.m, you need to stay in the cafeteria with Mrs. Gibson. She will release you to your lockers at 7. 8th HOUR
8th Hour is held in the media center. It runs from 2:35 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Meet in the front lobby by the door monitor and you will be walked to the media center Forms can be picked up in the office.
NO CELL PHONES DURING SCHOOL HOURS
Students: Cell phones are not allowed during school hours. Your phone should be in your locker and turned off at 7:25 a.m. They cannot be used until 2:30 p.m. Cell phones are NOT permitted during lunches.
HEALTH ROOM RULES
Students who need to go to the health room must get a pass from the teacher they are coming from AND they should also check in with their next hour teacher to let them know where they are.
