7TH GRADE RED
The seventh grade RED volleyball team sent Tecumseh home with a loss yestetday. The scores were 25-3, 25-11 and 15-9. The team was led by the spectacular serves of Megan W and Abby D. Regan H excelled on defense and McKenna D was a hitting sensation. Keep up the good work girls!
8TH GRADE WHITE
Bedford 8th grade White volleyball team improved to 6-0 last night after defeating Lincoln 25-15,25-14 and 25-20. Keira L put together 15 servers in the first game to catch the lady Broncos up after they feel to a 14 point deficit. Anna C and Luci N lead the defense. Kailey R played well all around for the team. Come out and support the volleyball team this Saturday. They will be playing in the SEC tournament at Bedford high school. Play starts at 9:00AM
8TH GRADE RED
The 8th grade red volleyball team defeated Tecumseh 25-20, 25-22, 15-10.
Leaders for the team were Mollie K in serving, Sophia G in setting, Emily Lestock in passing and Josie R and Emily L in hitting.
NJHS
There will be an NJHS membership meeting today during 4th hour in the media center. Please bring your lunches with you if your lunch is either 4A or 4B. You will also need your Chromebooks.
PICTURE RETAKES
Picture retakes are scheduled for October 26, 2017 during homeroom. Forms can be picked up at the door monitors desk.
BULLETIN BOARD CLUB
Do you think you have a creative side? Do you like to create things? Join Mrs. Carnicom today for the Bulletin board club. We will be creating beautiful masterpieces throughout the school year to keep our halls looking fresh. We will meet in room 230 and getting started right away. The club will go until 3:30 so make sure you have a ride home. There will be a sign up sheet in her room so please make sure to sign up.
DRESS CODE
Students, while the temps stay warm, be sure to dress for the weather and for our dress code here at the school. While we certainly need to stay cool, we also need to keep our shorts and shirts within the ranges set forth in the dress code.
VOLLEY FOR THE CURE
Bedford Varsity Volleyball is sponsoring a VOLLEY FOR THE CURE night on Thursday, October 12th in the Bedford High School gym to benefit cancer research and help those living with cancer.
"Volley for the Cure" T-shirts will be sold this week during lunches. T-shirts will cost $10. Then wear your T-shirt to the games on October 12, 2017 and you will get in FREE.
Cardiovascular Testing Offered
This will be held at the High School on Monday, October 9, 2017 from 9:00 AM until 4:00 PM. Any student from 12 - 25 years old are eligible for the test. If you are interested, schedule your appointment and complete the paperwork. Go on line at www.wimbledonhealthpartners.c

EARLY DROP OFFS
If you are dropped off at school before 7 a.m, you need to stay in the cafeteria with Mrs. Gibson. She will release you to your lockers at 7. 8th HOUR
8th Hour is held in the media center. It runs from 2:35 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Meet in the front lobby by the door monitor and you will be walked to the media center Forms can be picked up in the office.
NO CELL PHONES DURING SCHOOL HOURS
Students: Cell phones are not allowed during school hours. Your phone should be in your locker and turned off at 7:25 a.m. They cannot be used until 2:30 p.m. Cell phones are NOT permitted during lunches.
HEALTH ROOM RULES
Students who need to go to the health room must get a pass from the teacher they are coming from AND they should also check in with their next hour teacher to let them know where they are.
