NATIONAL BULLYING AWARENESS AND PREVENTION MONTH
This week kicks off National Bullying Awareness and Prevention Month. Every morning, there will be a different message about what you can do to stop bullying! First of all, how do you define bullying? Bullying occurs when someone says or does something intentionally hurtful and they keep doing it, even when you tell them to stop or show them that you are upset. Bullying can take many forms. It can be physical, like hitting, kicking, or punching. It can also be social or emotional, like using words to hurt someone, leaving someone out, or gossiping and spreading rumors. Bullying can happen at school, in your neighborhood, or online.Adults may not see when someone is bullied. This happens because bullying often happens outside the view of adults. This is why is important to report bullying to an adult! Adults want to know about it and stop it from happening.
SPORTS
The Bedford 8th grade RED volleyball team won yesterday at Tecumseh with scores of 25-9, 25-10, and 27-25. Megan W. led the team in serving with 14 points, Ella H. had 10 points, Jaiden J. 9 points, and Alyssa D. had 6 points. The whole team passed well for the Broncos. At the net, Faith U. and Ella H. each had 4 kills and Carmen Z. and Rylee H. each had 3 kills. The team is home next Monday the 8th vs Chelsea. Hope to see you there!
Bedford White won their game yesterday against Lincoln 25-9, 25-7,and 25-12.
Leah B and Hannah K lead the team in serving with 5 aces each. Passing well for the lady Broncos was Taylor D with 9 digs and Ava G with 5. The White team is home again next Wednesday against Adrian.

The 7th Red Volleyball team lost a hard fought battle against Tecumseh yesterday with the scores of 18/25, 19-25 and 25-17. Mya K. led the team in serving, Allison S. was a leader in passing and Alexa F. did a great job on defense.
JUNIOR HIGH BOYS BASKETBALL
Any 7th or 8th grade boy interested in basketball, there will be an open gym this Sunday, October 7th in the junior high gym from 3-5pm
